Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

What about the uniform shirts and name tag?

They should send you an email with the orientation packet. In there you will have all the info you need to proceed. You can order the pin at the college bookstore.

Nope, not yet. I'm starting to get impatient and there's nothing I can do since she told us not to call her office or email her.

I am aware of the orientation packet, I didn't clarify myself. How long does it take for the uniform and the oin to come in? Because I am picking up my papers for physical at my doctors monday, and the background and drug test next week.

Well, my uniform came in two weeks after I placed an order. I ordered the pin 2.5 weeks ago and so far nada. So, I urge that you take care of the uniform and the pin ASAP.

I know the wait is killing me, especially since she said she would try to provide us with the codes by the end of the week which was last Friday. I did, however, email her asking if earlier editions of the textbooks would be ok to use. I hope she responds. But I am not holding my breath...

Congrats on getting in! If you haven't scheduled a physical yet, I suggest you do that as soon as possible.

I suggest you definitely order the name tag and uniform shirt as soon as possible too. I placed an order for my uniform shirt on July 15th. As of today, it still says "Submitted" and they haven't taken the money out of my account (which means they haven't shipped it yet). I ordered my name tag on June 29th and received a call to pick it up on the 16th. Both items take awhile.

Hi, guys! Those of you who have not yet bought the textbooks, do you think we will need access code for pharmacology? I am looking to rent, but with renting they do not provide an access code. However, there is an option to purchase e-textbook with an access code on Elsiever for a bit over 100 bucks. I feel like we will be required to have an access code for like homework to complete online. But I guess it is hard to know for sure, at least not until we get the syllabus.

Also, I just spoke to Fatima and she said we have to use textbooks of the latest editions.
