Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

Does it fit you well? I ordered M size, and I did take my measurements. So i hope it fits me well. I hate when clothing looks like a burlap sack.

Hey Guys!

Congrats to all that have been accepted.

I was reading some comments about the acceptance process and here is my two cents.

I had two classmates that got accepted one on June 8th and the other yesterday. They both submitted their apps the week before March 15. And the one that was recently accepted got a 75 on her Hesi, and was accepted to Generic.

The first one applied for accelerated but her email said accepted to the Generic program as well.

With that said, their acceptance process remains a mystery.

Is that top and pants together? How much did you pay?

You can purchase both from the same site. You have to buy the top from Dove, but you may or may not buy the bottom. You can buy the bottom from any uniform store. I will. I want to actually try it on and see how it fits. I hate buying clothing online.

For the people who haven't taken it HIN 269: When do you plan on taking it? I'm debating on if I should take it next month, during the fall or during the winter break. They all have their pros and cons.

Also, does anyone know when the nursing department will have its next advisement session?

Im registering for the summer course tomorrow in the nursing department. A few people have said it really helps lighten the load in the winter if you take HIN 269 in the summer.

Hi guys, I ordered my drug test on castle branch and the form says its for 10-panel urine. Did yours say the same?

Because on the orientation packet it says Drug testing (15 panel)

As for your drug-test question, I wish I could help you but I haven't even done the background check yet. Since you're going to advisement tomorrow, maybe one of them can help you.

I think I read it in the packet that we would be able to register on or after the orientation. They will give us permission to do so. But I may be getting it wrong, but for the first semester (I think ABSN) they pick the schedule for us. Not sure.

I'm going to assume it's after you hand in your CPR certification, background check/drug test, and health clearance form. @FutureNurseInfo is right. We don't get to pick our classes, they pick them for us--at least that's what it's been like for the past few years.
