Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
I'm very anxious too, just keep telling yourself it is possible I can do it!
I have no experience in the healthcare field, just go with an open mind and like a lot of youtubers say... do not procrastinate! Time management is Key!
Good luck everyone!
I havent heard from Lehman, but yesterday was my orientation at Concordia College. I am super excited! Maybe I will meet some of you during clinical shifts!
Let's do this!
Does any of you have experience in the healthcare? I have zero experience, and I am freaking out. I guess that feeling of "Am I smart/good enough for nursing" slowly creeping in. I've been watching a lot of vids of current/past nursing students telling stories of how much reading and assignments in a very short time they had to do...and keeping up with all of that may seem impossible...
Don't let that feeling get the best of you. There are people from all different backgrounds that do second degree nursing. Some from finance, some from psychology, some from other fields. Id say a lot of us probably don't have this kind of healthcare experience. You're going to do great in the program!

Thank you! I know what you mean. I hope for the great professors, great classmates and supporting learning environment both in the classroom and clinicals.
Hi guys, I ordered my drug test on castle branch and the form says its for 10-panel urine. Did yours say the same?Because on the orientation packet it says Drug testing (15 panel)
???
Mine said the same thing. The orientation packet itself is a little confusing period. I think they change dates on it here and there, but forget to update other things.
Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your summer thus far! I might be overthinking much at this point but I was wondering what everyone was doing in hopes to better prepare for the first semester this coming fall. I know that pharmacology is a hard class so I have been studying up on some study skills, and quick study guides and well as flash cards (purchased on Amazon).
Hello Everyone,
I haven't been on for awhile, as well as I haven't heard from Lehman as of yet. I remain hopeful. But at the same time, I didn't want to waste the opportunity not to continue school. I applied to CNR and got accepted. I congratulate all those who have gotten accepted to Lehman and the best of luck. I will still post my results so others can know.
Applied to Generic
Accepted or Rejected? Unknown as of now

Id love to collaborate on this with others if possible. Definitely want to be prepared before the semester starts. Have you gotten any of the textbooks yet?
