Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
Guys, I feel horrible. I haven't received anything and I thought I was a strong candidate for the generic program.Stats:
Pre-req: 3.79
Hesi: 87.33%
CT: 840
I passed every section of the HESI. What should I do? Or do I do nothing at all? Help me, please :'(
Also, congratulations to everyone else who has gotten in! You're so close!!
I believe you have a high chance and still have time. just be patient. But if anything apply to another school as a backup. That is what I did.
My stats are horrible. I took A&P 5 years ago when my dad passed so I got B's then I gotChem B+
Lab A
Orgo A-
Lab A
Micro A
Hesi:
CT: 940
Math: 92
AP: 92
RC: 86
But my gpa still amounted to 3.48 and my cumulative is 3.7 the only reason I'm keepin my hopes alive is because when I went to the department they told me they saved a few seats for lower gpa so here I am.
I was accepted to the college of New Rochelle but really wished to attend Lehman. That's where I finished my pre recs by the way.
Thank you for all the information and input. You put me at ease in a way. Good luck. I'm applying for New Rochelle as well for a back up.

Both your stats are really good.
I am here still hopeful.
My Hesi score is a 77%
Science GPA 3.9
CT 850
I hope it is true they save some seats for low grades:,(
Two of my classmates were accepted to CNR they offered them scholarships of 20k and 10k per year. Which is of great help!

I didn't put up my scores. But I will use the template if I get accepted. And thank you for that information. Hope they can offer that to me.

Hey everyone! I'm super late, but caught up on all comments.
All my correspondence with the nursing department has been through my gmail account. I suggest everyone check their spam folders too (you never know).
I sent my confirmation of attendance and received my orientation packet the next day.
I'm currently trying to get all my stuff (criminal background check, drug test, health clearance, etc.) done before orientation. I'll update you all as soon as I can to share any tips.
The criminal background check and drug teat can be set up through castlebranch.com for all of you who have been accepted. I had to email them because I felt it wasn't clear in the packet. I submitted mine and paid for both ($130.25 total). I just have to walk into the lab to get the drug test done with a registration sheet I printed from the site.
