Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Published

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

Oh I thought it was your scores on the previous post. My bad! But I'm sure you did good.

And yes, check looks almost every student gets a scholarship with CNR. I got accepted and the letter said I was awarded a scholarship of up to 20k.

Nice.

Guys I'm going to lehman tomorrow if you have any questions that you want me to ask post them here.

I'm going to the department tomorrow!! I will post any relevant info they give me. Keep the faith. Everything will work out well in the end.

congratulations. Im very happy for everybody that got accepted so far. would you mind sharing your stats?

Is it too late to take HIN 269? A few people from the program have posted that they advise taking it before the program begins as opposed to during the winter intersession

I was accepted today at arounf 12is into the generic!! Have Faith everyone. Also If anyone is going to lehman any time soon to order a name badge from the bookstore please private message me.

Thanks for offering this. Let us know if this is what we need to do to get an answer from the department. I haven't been able to get a response via email or phone. I'm not sure about the whole acceptance process. Is it "rolling" as in "first come first serve" on applications accepted? Because my stats are higher than some who have been accepted and I haven't heard anything. I've inquired if there is an issue with my application and haven't gotten a response. (I have a 4.0 pre requisite GPA, got a 90 on the HESI and a 950 on Critical Thinking.) I know you probably can't get a response on this but any insight would be appreciated.

Good luck going in. I look forward to this waiting for a response period to be done with.

Did you take your pre recs at lehman? I will also ask if they give priority for lehman students or if they take it as it comes.

I guess if they are willing to tell you, ask how many seats are still available? What GPA are they on now? Will there be rejection letters/emails sent out as well? When is the last date of acceptance? And whatever else anyone else wants to input.

Do you mind asking how many students they're taking this year? This long wait time is really nerve wracking. A lot have been admitted and I am getting scared because of all the things we need to do before class starts. Thanks in advance!
