The purpose of this thread is not to condemn those making this decision or debate whether they should vaccinate or not.

Yeah, that's what concerns me. I don't get the American obsession with mrna. We should have like 3 traditional options in the pipeline by now. No way it's cheaper to go the mrna route. I'm concerned of political dealings driving this.

I don't know that we are obsessed with mRNA. It was what was available at the time and the hospital received enough quantity in Jan to Vax the staff and lots of seniors in town.

As opposed to the world taking the mRNA vaccines? Your tinfoil helmet is showing.

Actually Sinovac and Sputnik are traditional vaccine as far as I know. I wouldn't trust them either LOL. But why is Novavax the ONLY legit American company doing anything with traditional methods? Did some lobbying lead to some kind of regulatory limitation on other companies or something? I'm just saying it's weird.

Everyone else is no more unique than I. What are these unique circumstances that makes their physiology so different than mine ? The truly unique folks are those who's physiology doesn't allow them the benefits of vaccine. I think they make it worthwhile for me to take it for them.

No. They are just lagging behind in the race to get another safe and effective drug to the market. Pfizer won but those refrigerator requirements were an obstacle. So others followed with vaccines that wouldn't be so difficult to handle in other countries. Pfizer might lose in the long term because of it's fragility. No big bad drug company conspiracy needed to explain that. Exciting intellectual times to live in.

Seriously? Just because people don’t blindly follow science doesn’t mean they are ignorant, conspiracy theorist dooms day preppers. Have an open mind. You don’t have to believe everything the government and the CDC tells you to.

Do you believe that over 600,000 Americans have died from covid? And just for perspective 3300 Americans died in the Middle East in the last 20 years. Just a quick question for the anti-Vaxers

OMG are you seriously so foolish as to believe that number? Come on we all know that someone can die without it being due to COVID and have COVID. Stop believing all numbers at face value. Think about this- when I had COVID and lost my taste and smell, I had no other symptoms. So if I get in a car wreck and die and just do happen to have COVID did I die from COVID or the car accident?
