Last Semester

Hello all. Just wanted to know how others are feeling about entering the last semester of school. Any special preparations? Are family member ready to start thus journey with you once again? Any one super duper anxious LOL?

I am starting to get a little pumped myself :). I am also sooo nervous. I can't wait to start so the count down can began. Did you start doing any pre-studying yet?

I'm so ready to do this it isn't funny! I'm feeling like I might actually know what I'm doing this semester too.

What subjects are they covering for this Last Semester. Lol I luv saying that. But I have 103 or 4 credits total after this semester, all going towards my BSN. So will need to complete RN to BSN. Going to do it online. Just will have nursing classes then graduate. But I am focused on passing this semester first. I will cross the other bridge when I get to it :). So when does your classes start? Everyone seems to have a different start date.

I am too. It's kinda hard to explain. I want to start reading now, but reading material is not available. I have heard from classes ahead of me that this semester is soooo hard. But I feel like they completed it. So its definitely doable. :) not gonna let nothing stand in my way! What subjects do you have for the coming semester?

We start Aug 26!

We'll be covering Nursing management and professional concepts, Nursing complex health alterations II (did part I last semester), Advanced Clinical (I'm on an oncology med/surg floor and hoping to get the preceptorship into the Burn ICU), and Nursing Clinical Transition.

I'll be going back to get my BSN starting next fall as well, thankfully I'm in a part of the country where ADNs still get hired fairly "easily" so I can work and do my BSN.

We'll be covering Nursing management and professional concepts, Nursing complex health alterations II (did part I last semester), Advanced Clinical (I'm on an oncology med/surg floor and hoping to get the preceptorship into the Burn ICU), and Nursing Clinical Transition.

I'll be going back to get my BSN starting next fall as well, thankfully I'm in a part of the country where ADNs still get hired fairly "easily" so I can work and do my BSN.

They hire fairly easily here as well. We still have a lot of Med/surg to complete this semester. Have not received our schedule yet.. I have been stalking my email awaiting our schedule. I feel like starting a new semester is like boarding a train that goes at light speed and it does not stop until December lol. I am anxious to start but I should enjoy waiting on this train because I know once you get on, its no stopping :). Have you received your assignments yet?

Atleast you get to start early. Well a week before me. That means you will graduate sooner also. That's awesome.

They hire fairly easily here as well. We still have a lot of Med/surg to complete this semester. Have not received our schedule yet.. I have been stalking my email awaiting our schedule. We received info on one class with the entire schedule when we ended last semester in May. So we've had the reading assignments since then. Other than that though we'll get everything we need the first week. We'll have an entire day for clinical orientation with all 50ish of us (includes all clinical sites for the 4th semester students). I've got my binders ready for all the stuff we'll have to put in them, I'm used to this routine already!

Wow. That's great. I wish they gave us the reading assignment like that. I don't believe my school is that organized. :)
