Last Semester

Hello all. Just wanted to know how others are feeling about entering the last semester of school. Any special preparations? Are family member ready to start thus journey with you once again? Any one super duper anxious LOL?

So excited! We start on August 26th and med surg 2 ends October 31st! Our leadership class ends December 4th. So from November to the end of the semester we only really have preceptorship to worry about[/quote']

Wow we have all three for the entire semester. I wish they would have separated them. Instead its a constant worry. I guess all schools have the good and the bad. Keeping my head up though saying " 15 weeks, then I'm done" :)

Well from August 26th to October 31st we have ten weeks of med surg II lecture lab and clinicals with exams every two weeks. At the same time we have the leadership and professional development class until finals December 4th. Luckily our med surg final is on November 1st. Then we have six weeks from the beginning of November until mid December to do 120hrs of preceptorship.

Hope that's more clear lol

I will mention that is a super pain to try and schedule work around all of the random mandatory meetings and what not ugh

Yes. I think my job is probably sick of me and my last minute schedule changes lol. They just have to work with me though, I am definitely putting school first.

Finally got my reading schedule today. I wanted it bad and now I have all 7 chapters to read. Well I'm going to get to it. I'm happy to start reading. How is school going knowing this is the last haul? :)

Well although my semester doesn't start until next week, I got on Canvas to see how it works. Side note: it is AMAZING! I've done the reading for my med surg class for the first week since I already have most of the books

This is my last semester and I'm just soo anxious for it to be over!!

Seeing the new schedule, and all.the things that need to be done. I am sitting here asking myself " how the heck did you do this last semester, it is sooo much".

Has anyone had or know when your first test is and how many you have in your final semester ? Are things seeming increasingly harder in your last semester? What's different from the semester before?

We have our schedules and know when our exams are and when the exit HESI is as well already.

We start back on Monday!

Yup. We have our syllabi so we have the readings, exam dates and lab info.
