Langara Jan 2017

Published

Hey guys! I'm applying for Jan 2017. I was taking "booster" courses in hopes of getting in with old admission requirements. But now that the 2 university transfer courses are eliminated, I'm really worried :( Do you guys think the competition will be more fierce with the new admission requirements? (2 eng, 2 bio, stats) Could someone please share what they're applying with? I don't have any A's and it's very likely I may need to look towards a new career path. Honestly, I think the reason they got rid of the 2 transfer courses is because before people could get in with C+ in biology and stats with the help of A+ in booster courses. Now it's more about having good marks in all the courses that are relevant to the nursing program.

I applied with 2.8 with 114 credits completed. It's a low gpa but I hope they'll give me a chance!

Thanks for sharing! Good luck! I hope I hear back from them as well... I don't want to have to wait another year!

Me too! Good luck to both of us!

hey guys,

by GPA, do they look at all your undergrad courses' grades or just the prereqs?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone heard back from Langara Nursing?

Nothing yet! I am pretty sure I didn't get into the program for this intake. I feel like most acceptance letter have probably been sent out by now. :(:(:(

I got accepted this afternoon!
