LAC+USC interview new grad RN

Hey guys, I have a question. I had an interview with LAC+USC and received a letter that I passed the oral exam. I read in the letter that they are going to contact me if positions open up. I am a new grad RN. Have you been in my situation? How long does it take until they call you? Do we have another interview after the oral interview or this is it? Please share your experience with me..thank you

Im pretty sure i have debbie's still listed onthe paper they gave but i dont know how to private msg. So just go ahead and PM me.

To be honest, I was kind of nervous posting a message on this thread. But I'm glad I did.

Now I am more hopeful and motivated thanks to you all.

But I must admit, after this looong job searching journey, I noticed that I am becoming a bit DRAMA QUEEN and sometimes makes me wonder if I am a BIPOLAR lol.

This sure is a emotional roller coaster! and I WANT TO GET OFF ASAP!!

There is a luncheon with all the new grads panned for dec 15, I will see you there!:lol2:

btw if there's anyone who hasn't gotten a start date, you should call.

I still have not gotten a start date. I have called few times but they keep telling me the same thing: we're waiting. Who is invited to this luncheon because I wasn't told about it. Is it only those who got a start date that are welcomed to the luncheon?

I'm still waiting to do my physical... =\ wish this process could move along a lot faster... I hope the rest of us waiting get to start in January.

Ya the luncheon is informal and is for ppl who already started. My friend didn't get a start date and called, and they told her she stats dec 1. While on orientation I ran into someone who interviewed the same day as me, july 28, and he had already began early sept., so everyone is all over the place. On my short time here, I already feel they really need us --so just hang in there. I think they're staggering us just cuz there's not enough preceptors
