kaplan RN review Qbank low scores

My Current Q-Bank Update: I have now finished 95% of the Q-Bank questions and my overall score right now is stillllll 62%.

update 79% used still 56% i dont understand.. my scores actually improved every set of exam the last one was 58% the today i scored 60% but still consistent on 56% over all. :crying2:

@ejay yes i reviewed every time i finished my set of 50q's on qbank and always on time mode..

hello thank you everyone for posting all these helpful posts! I am scheduled to take the kaplan in class review tomorrow! I am also scheduled to take my exam on December 28.... but from reading these posts maybe i will need to reschedule because that may not be enough time to review the and do all the q banks i took the diagnostic exam and got a 70%.... on kaplan they say they have a study schedule that is based on taking the exam 2 weeks after you take the class???? is this to soon? i plan to update and post my q bank scores like everyone else is doing!! guys we got to believe in ourselves.we can do this. yes the scores may be frustrating but the good thing is, we improved.. and I think that's the important thing there. another thing to keep our nervousness at bay, just think this, according to so many, the KAPLAN QT and Qbank are waaay harder than the NCLEX..so maybe, just maybe, we pass.

miley and melai: high 50's-60's range, I heard that if you get a cumulative score in that range then you are capable of passing nclex. i know I read it here in allnurses somewhere..so guys don't lose hope k?my prayers for all of us..

thanks so much!!! littleone17.. the hard thing for my situation is i worked 5 days a week 8hrs/day when i get home so tired.. i cannot stop working i already thought of quieting the job but thats the only way i can survive im just by myself.... so hard... but i think im better than the first time i took it., im so glad i can say all my thoughts in here my feelings frustration.. not on facebook LOL! today is my birthday and my only wish is to pass the NCLEX exam!!! hope our LORD above help us and guide us,..

How do you study in a day? How many hours? what's your routine of studying? I just took Kaplan and I plan on taking the exam 2nd week of January. I have completed Qt 1-3. Rationalized them and stuff. Now working on my Qbank but doing really bad so I decided to give a week of just studying pharma and watching the LOD videos of Kaplan. Please help me I feel like i'm doing something wrong.
My diagnostic - 54%

i studied every night after work for 2-4 hrs. but during my days off(2days) i spend 5-8 hours. and sometimes im so tired from work so i dont do my qbanks but i got a book lacharity and exam cram so everytime i go on break or if i got a chance im answer questions on those two books i always bring them with me.. same as me i dont do good on my qbanks.. im doin my very best im giving everything i can..

QT1-3 are content and im not sure but i think kaplan wants a score of 65 on those.. ur scores are not bad they will improve as u practice answering.. QT4 and 5 are mix with content and critical thinking which u will apply the Decision Tree...

Hope you will update ur scores here as u go along with ur kaplan.. GOODLUCK on ur review!!

Hi all,

Have you all completed the sample exams (3 of them) on Kaplan on demand. I just did extremely bad on the 2nd one! I dont know to do!

nurse1123: No, I haven't done those yet. I am going to do them may be today or tomorrow. What did you score on the first two? I will update my scores when I'm done with them.
