Hey everyone, I want to share my story because some of you may be in the same situation. I took the NCLEX with the new COVID rules: 60 questions min, 130 max. After 60 questions, the test kept going. It went all the way to 130 questions. When I got home, I received the email from Pearson, waited an hour, and tried the Pearson Vue Trick. I got the bad pop up message in which the site allowed me to register for another exam. I tried the trick several hours later and got the bad pop up again. I was devastated. Two days later, I got the Quick Results and found out that I had actually passed. Apparently, there is a gray area for the Pearson Vue Trick: if you take the exam and make it all the way to the end, the trick may not be accurate. It wasn’t accurate for me. If you’re in the same situation, keep your head up. All is not lost.
Also, my state board did not post my license number before my quick results were available. I understand it’s cheaper, quicker, and more accurate to check your license status on the state board, but this is why I did not do so.
Good luck everyone!

Yes we did, failure On the first attempt didn’t define us. We conquered. we knew we wanted it so we went for it. 2 RN’s two different states one goal. We did it I’m so proud of you!!

Hi! I took it yesterday, also got 130 questions and got the bad pop up...I’m kinda freaking out and really nervous and feel like I already failed . Any advice for me?
I took my NCLEX-RN exam yesterday also did 130 questions left with 9 minutes in the exam. I try PVT like 10 times got the bad pop ... I’m here feeling defeated..I got 35 SATA, 4 math questions, 1 imagine questions that I can hardly make out... 2 place order, 10 medication question which I’m suck at. Etc.... I’m still holding the faith the worst part is if I failed I just have to wait 45 days to retake it. But CONGRATS to everyone that passed..... and everyone that is waiting for their results I know the feeling of being depressed or shutting yourself away from everyone.

What all did you use to study on your second try? I’ve used everything it seems like. Kaplan, Mark K videos, Hurst review, UWorld. IDK what happened to me in the testing room but I knew the second I left that I had failed it.
