Just got my NCLEX results! Pearson Vue Trick wrong?

Published

Hi!

I took the NCLEX 2 days ago, and received my results through Pearson's quick results. I passed!!

I just wanted to let you guys know to not try that pearson vue trick. I got the "bad pop up" and was devastated for 2 days. I wasted so much of my life unhappy because I really thought I failed...

Maybe I did it wrong? idk but my name has already popped up on my state's nursing board so I know those quick results aren't false.

Have hope if you did the trick and got the bad pop up!! And in my advice just don't try that at all.

OMG congrats! Yes I plan on not doing that. Taking my own soon. How was it if I may ask?

Thank you!! I thought the NCLEX was difficult (especially since I was so nervous). I found a lot of my lower level questions pertained to non-disease related topics (ex. the rights of medication, what to write in the patient's chart/what you cannot)

The higher level questions were pertained to diseases, but were very specific and a lot of SATA. Some medications I got I had never even heard of! Definitely know your drug endings & fundamentals of nursing content (Ex. crutches)

I only used u world to prepare for the NCLEX and it definitely worked for me! What works for me also doesn't work for everyone... this was just my experience ?

That sounds similar to my test 2 days ago. Plus I got the bad pop up. But I’m waiting to see....soo nervous. Thanks for sharing.

Also, is it everyone that receives that Pearson’s email right after the test? I’ve read some responses saying that it’s a good sign. And that when they failed the first time they didn’t get that email. I’m just curious.

I'm not sure about that theory! I did get the email and I passed. This was my first time taking it though so I have nothing else to compare it to

My husband just checked and I didn’t pass?

I'm so sorry to hear that practicing questions is really what helped me (NOT reading textbooks or cramming in facts-minus the lab values). Keep your chin up I know you can pass!!

Did you have a job contingent to passing the NCLEX? Hopefully they're understanding if that's the case

Yeah I have been doing Kaplan questions with Mark Klimeks lectures. I graduated since December and didn’t receive my ATT until May 10...soo I took the test on a space of 2/3 weeks. I did actually feel as though I wasn’t ready and wanted to push it back but I was trying to stay positive at the same time. Soo I think that was one problem.

I mean I was doing questions like 2 months after graduation but it was more serious after getting that ATT. So maybe I rushed myself.

Second factor, I could not fall asleep the night before the test. My brain was just not shutting off! I was just laying there. (That’s a red flag right there).

I didn’t have a job lined up as yet. It’s soo hard getting a job here in NY in the hospital setting as a New Grad. But I am just sooo tired of being home. I was sooo ready to start working. But hey, everything happens for a reason. I didn’t fail to fail again....I failed to pass.

That seems to be a trendy thing with me. I always have to try again! I made it through nursing school but that last semester almost kicked my ***. My nerves are getting better.

Thank you and I wish you all the best as you continue as a RN.

Thanks so much!! Wishing you the best of luck. Your determination will get you very far in life

Congrats on passing Nursing2019BSN !!!!

I am so sorry Clover u did not pass. I admire your determination. Everyday is a new day! I felt the same thing I wasn't really ready to take my exam. I am in the middle of moving to our new house, and being pregnant does not help to focus and remember things.

"About the PVT" took my LVN exam last Monday 6/3/2019 (8am to 10:15), after 2 hrs it gave me an option to take my break after asnwering 101 Qs, then back on the exam after 2 questions the comp. shuts off. I was so nervous. Then did all the survey. Got an email as well saying if you have any questions? for quick result, blah2x but California doesn't have the quick result:(.

I got all types of questions, Labs, side effects meds, OB, Peds, Ortho pt, delegation, prioritization, teaching,3 math, SATA, and I am not sure if I passed or not.

I tried PVT many times and it kept saying"CC declined" used incorrect exp date. I feel so horrible stopped trying it again, and now its Saturday, checked online my name still not on there.

BAD popped up 2019 and Good popped up is this still works?

I am hoping it doesn't work for bad popped up ,still hoping that I really do passed. I am claiming I passed!!! Lord I am really praying for this!!!

Went to church Sunday ,and then Monday morning my exam, I felt really blessed by the priest he prayed and blessed me.
