Hello everyone, I have my first nursing job interview on Thursday. I have been looking up questions regarding interviews. If anyone can tell me how to prepare myself and or what I should expect I would really appreciate.

Update. A week after my exam I didn’t see a letter in the mail (Candidate Report). So I took it to be a good sign. I decided to check for my name on the NY’s license verification and there was my address staring at me. From that point I just started screaming and giving God Thanks ??. After I went to take a full glimpse of my license. Gratitude ??

Thank you and I would agree. I tested last Tuesday and I didn’t do quick results because I was so scared. A week later I looked up my name and there was my license. Praise be to God. Being that I had 145 (all questions) means that the last question (amniocentesis) was a high level question which would require Analysis and Application. Maybe not basic for the computer. I passed with all the questions so it meant that it was a high level question

Hey I tested last week and I am also scared to check for my results. I had all 145 questions, tons of SATA’s (came in pairs and sometimes 3 in a row, no math question, exhibits, drag and drops, Prioritization and Delegation, Clarify prescription, Follow ups, Correct Understanding, Intervene, Most Important, ECG. I was calm during the exam and felt confident. But because I’ve failed before I’m scared to pay for quick results because I’d be crushed if I see fail. So I’m just waiting to see if I’d receive a letter from the BON a week from my test date. If I don’t then I’ll check ?

Hello everyone I came across this question where it asked What would you monitor, what should the nurse do or what are the nursing interventions after the doctor performed an amniocentesis at 24 weeks gestation? (Genetic Disorder testing) •Discharge the patient •Admit patient monitor mom and the fetus and keep on bed rest (Im trying to relocate the question but I don’t have the rest of answer options right now but the options had more words). Is a question like this considered high or low priority question? Or does it fall under Analyzing and Applying?

Thank you. I didn’t know that cause people be saying SATAs are above the line and if your get them back to back you got them right. Urgh the theories. So that’s why I asked ?

I did last Jan and I didn’t get my ATT until June. I went to school in Texas and applied in NY but I am from NY.
