  1. Thank you for your response, sir. I was hoping there are some nurses who have the same experience as mine and how they go about it. I have also started reading books and trying out practice exams. But I can't concentrate yet since I've been thinking about how to process my application. I guess you're right, calling the NYBON will definitely clear my mind. Thanks much!
  2. Hello, I would like to ask for your advice on how to process if I will be retaking my NCLEX. Here is a brief history of what I've been through, In 2018 I registered in New York BON for RN licensure exam. I took my NCLEX in September 2019 and unfortunately I failed. After knowing my result, I immediately scheduled a retake in April 2020, but was not able to push through until my ATT expired, brought about by COVID19 pandemic. They gave me consideration and extended my ATT however, I was not able to still take the exam due to strict COVID19 protocols in my country. Now, I would like to take NCLEX again, the same state New York. My questions are: 1. Do I need to register again to NYBON? 2. Do I need to have CGFNS evaluate my credentials again? 3. CGFNS notified me thru email that the storage period of my documents will expire in 3 weeks and advised me to pay and extend the storage period, or else they will destroy my documents; is it necessary to extend the storage period? These are a few of the questions I need to know so I can process my NCLEX again since I am doing it myself, ( I learned from my workplace that they are under an agency that helps them process their application) which I can't afford so I am on DIY. Thanks for your help, hoping you could help me, guys.
  3. Hello everyone. I would like to ask if someone here has tried requesting any USA board of nursing for the extension of their ATT? My ATT is valid until June 10, 2020. The reason for extension is due to the effect of COVID19 in my country.
  4. @Clover123 My ATT was emailed on March 12, 2020. My problem is, its only valid until June 10, 2020. I haven't scheduled yet and I'm not reviewing much these days because of work and effects on our livelihood due to this pandemic Covid19. Is it possible to request for the extension of my ATT validity?
  5. @Irene S. Maza I did not. The $200 during my PVT is already for my retake. My cousin who is in the US tried to contact NYBON and they said that my ATT will be emailed 1-2 days after. You really need to call them and ask about your ATT.
  6. Thank you, sir/ma'am. I hope I get a reply soon from NYBON. I have been checking my Pearson VUE account every day and it still says that "You do not have any exams that can be scheduled at this time".
  7. Hello to everyone! I need help. I took my NCLEX on September 16, 2019, and did the PVT 2 hours after. I was charged $200. I also did the quick results and it showed that I did not pass the exam. I'm planning to retake the NCLEX. My questions are: 1. Will the $200 charged from me during my PVT attempt be used on my retake? 2. Will the New York BON require additional fees for a retake? I already emailed NYBON and informed them that I will be retaking NCLEX but until now I don't get any reply. It has been months now and I don't know what to do. Furthermore, I have not received my performance evaluation report regarding my last NCLEX which I failed.
  8. no admin. i applied for an immigrant visa under the federal skilled worker program. i have an agency who helped me complete all the requirements but sadly as i said in my previous post i was not lucky to have a file number because they were just getting around 1000 nurses internationally. Canada have regular draws under express entry using point system. But i only have 342 points which i guess is too low as compared to others from other countries.
  9. oh thank you admin. is there a thread regarding canada's express entry? actually my plan in going to USA is my second option, my initial plan is to apply for canada FSW i submitted my papers on november 2014 but sadly i was cut out because apparently they are just giving 1000 slots around the world and the new system now is to apply for a job using the job bank.
  10. oh i really have a slim chance going there. is there a way that i can take nclex since most states require SSN as one of the requirements? i also applied in canada express entry program but my points are low. confused right now.
  11. even if my cousin will petition me? or will hire me as his employee? he said once i applied for visa screen he will file for petition. i really dont know how the petition works. im sorry im not familiar with it yet.
  12. I read that CA doesnt require CGFNS anymore (not sure though). My plan is to get a visa certificate and go to my cousin and work in his nursing home while reviewing for my NCLEX. Since most of the states now require SS how is it possible for me to apply for NCLEX when im still in the Philippines? im really confused. I already plan to take my IELTS on May.
  13. Hello guys, im new here. just want to ask is it necessary to take NCLEX when applying for visa screen? my cousin who has a nursing home in california told me i just need ielts and my license here in the philippines. He told me to take NCLEX when im already in the US.
