Just curious..what color is your stethoscope?

Hi everyone!

I'm starting nursing school in August and I was curious,what color is your stethoscope? Someone told me not to get black because it could possibly "grow legs.":unsure:

What is the best brand and color?

I have a littman cardiology 3 black edition. The entire thing is black including bell, chest piece, and binaurals. It hasn't "grown legs" yet, but the tubing is engraved with my name.

Mine is purple. I also got a cardiology 3. The tubing is purple and the bell is a metallic rainbow. I also got my name engraved on it. But mine will definitely stand out.

Bright orange Littman with grey ear pieces. Has my name on it. I got orange just so nobody would mistakenly take it.

I bought a couple of very cheap ones from Amazon when I started school. I have blue and purple. I used them throughout nursing school and clinicals and they always worked fine. I rewarded myself with a Littman for graduation.

Lots of people bought expensive stethoscopes and didn't make it to the 2nd or third semester, my cheap ones got me through.

I'm starting Nursing classes this fall too! I just ordered my stethoscope off allheart.com. A light blue Littman Classic II S.E. (Because it was in the middle between cheap and pricey, and apparently, it's a good student steth) I got my named engraved on the bell, I believe.

Mine is a Littman Classic II SE with raspberry tubing and rainbow finish on the chest piece. I love mine! :-)
