This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.
To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.
Thanks!
taking my test Monday at 11am
I have done most of the green and blue Saunders books and 2 Hurst reviews
i cannot tell you that my system works yet but will soon
i have not cracked an old book or notebook from school
actually i sold all my books on eBay, ha ha

I'll be thinking of you and wishing all the calmness you can handle while testing, without actually going to sleep Ha-Ha.
Seriously the best of luck to you and let us know how it goes. I don't test until the 14th but I am working almost everyday until then.
Thanks, ICU2008, this advice is very important and I needed to see it.
You are welcome.
This is how I live my life always putting God first and he has always made a way for me and not just in this nursing journey, I am talking about every part of my life.
Let me stop before I start preaching. LOL
Pray all goes well
one more piece of advice. this is very valuablekeep god first in whatever you do. he will make a way.
thank you for this... i will be taking my nclex in a couple of weeks, and i've followed suzanne's plan this last time. it will be my 3rd attempt. my nerves have got the best of me right now, and i am a mess... my husband (bless him) doesn't know what to say. he is tiptoeing around me. the only time i am "alright" is when i take a break and go out and ride my horse. then i am stress free. the minute i start studying again, i swear i have add, and i have good days and bad, even at this point in my studying when it should be winding down. i do great on questions one day, then not so great the next... some days i can concentrate on it, some days i can't. ugh... but hopefully god will help me get through this time. you've never seen so much praying. :-)
thank you and good luck to all test takers...
thank you god!
this really helps i know....even if there are times that we dont get what we wanted.....in time...we will....
i am new to this forum.....i am from the april and may group...but since i will be taking the test next week... please include me....
this is my second attempt...and hopefully with gods mercy and grace... i will pass this second time..

Hello All,
I am also taking NCLEX in june (end of the month) and I am a nervous wreck.
I am trying to go over PEDS, OB, & Psych, esp my notes over the semesters. And then doing questions. Any opinions or suggestions on this?
Right now I feel like I don't know anything. At the end of the semester, I felt a little confident. We do ATIs and our tests were ok too. We have good (in fact great) passing rate for NCLEX in our school. And I think I did really well in all the specialty areas as well as MedSurg portions in theory. But I don't know what to do and how to best go about studying; therefore, I have decided to take Kaplan course, even though I absolutely can't afford it. But I am taking it for reassurance (even if it's false), esp since I already have a job lined up and I am really scared. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!!! SOME REASSURANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
