I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end
Hey there, I just called CNO cuz my results still haven't come in. Another person in my class who hasn't received theirs either called too. We both got pretty much the same answer. They say it can take up to 10 business days...I don't see how when everyone else in the city got theirs in 3. If we havent received anything by end of next week they can "resend them"--aka another 2 weeks.
The real kicker was when I asked about the fact that we haven't received our results and the deadline for the Oct. exam is Monday the 26th. I was told they aren't as strict when it comes to this situation (well I should hope not). So when I said so if we do need to rewrite and didn't get our results til after the 26th we would be guaranteed to write in October? THey were like "no, we can't guarantee it, if there is room then yes, but if it's full we can't guarantee it, but don't worry about" --HOW CAN I NOT WORRY? I now have to wait 3 more days of this, and that's if it comes Monday. This is so frustrating

so sad to hear that, i think we should write a letter to the cno and highlight what we go through with their insufficient service. we pay so much money for absolutely nothing! wonder if everyone feels the same way.
i can imagine the tight shoes you are wearing right now! but hopefully all works well.
does any one know the procedure for writing the nclex! info will be greatly appreciated
To all those who have not received their results. I wish you all the best and HOPEFULLY you will receive them very early on Monday before CNO close the office.
If you dont do well, fill your details and fax the forms.
Have a good weekend and dont stress too much laura8989 and cdncn, I know its better said than done, but hang on!

with nclex, you need to apply for an att (athorization to take) with the office of professions. once approved you can sign up online or schedule for the test with pearson vue. you can have your test anyday you want as nclex is administered throughout the year.
There are a number of threads in the International forum on writing the NCLEX for those outside the US, as well as the NCLEX Discussion Forum - Nursing for Nurses.
I called the CNO this morning. I can't work until I get them so I'm really anxious! They told me that the CNO released the first results on July 19th. That means that we should all have them by the 1st of August, given the 8 to 10 business days of shipping. She also said that they would accept late applications to write the exam again. No guarantee though! !
One of the things I found odd was this: I asked the person I was talking to for her full name or another way to identify her, she said no. I was just trying to make sure that if I needed to verify that I had indeed called and spoken to her, I could. She just got kind of rude and said that she would not give me any identifying information. How can people be accountable if I can't even know who they are? Is this normal?

Where do you get that? You still need to meet state requirements (each state has their own requirements) and only then will you receive eligibility and the state BON will authorise release by pearsonvue of ATT. As mentioned there are many posts in the international forum regarding applying for license in the US because remember you are not applying for NCLEX that is just a part of the license process
I just got the result and failed by 1 point.
I'm so sorry
yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i passed. thank you for all your help. hope you all good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hang on there, you will get it.!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations!
By the grace of God I have passed the June 2010 CRNE!!I passed! I passed! Thank you God I passed!
I truly thought that I had failed because there were so many questions I was unsure of, and I was rushed through more than 50 at the end....
Thank you everyone for your support and updates on this site. It was because of the posts and comraderie here that I was prepared to face failure. I have posted before that you can be a GREAT nurse but a BAD test taker. It is true. Those who did not make it this time will have this experience to draw upon to empathize with future patients who are faced with their own failure and set backs.....
For those concerned with specifics (as I have been obsessed with) my envelope was thin and the postage was 00.57. Best wishes to all!
!!!
Congratulations!!
Results are in in Windsor here. Funny story: my boyfriend was over and I was stressed and agitated because I knew it was likely going to be today or tomorrow that results were in, and I've been terrified up until now. He had to leave for work and was mad at me because I was being sassy. As we were walking out to the car for him to leave, the mail lady walked by to the next house...needless to say, I rushed to the mailbox and it was the first envelope I pulled out....and...It's a pass!!!!!!!!
Honestly haven't felt this much relief in a LONG time, not since my daughter was born and she was totally healthy. Congratulations to all those who were successful this time around, and as I mentioned before - to those who weren't, keep your head up, this is just the beginning of your wonderful careers that lie ahead of you. Best of luck in all your future endeavors :)
Congratulations!!!
Windsor is getting it finally and I got mine just now. . All I can say is praise the Lord that I passed!!! It is truly a miracle from God because I felt horrrible after the exam. All those who are waiting, hang in there and God speed. Those who are trying to write it in Oct, may God be with you as well!!

I was referring to New York State. The office of Professions will give the ATT after all credentials are evaluated. Only then will you be able to proceed with the NCLEX exam.
