I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end
Sorry rafici............Please dont dwell on it for so long. You're a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up
And dust yourself off
And back in the saddle
The pressure is on
You feel it
But you've got it all
Believe it
When you fall get up
Oh oh...
And if you fall get up
Oh oh.................................................dont LOOSE HOPE, IM IN THE SAME BOAT.......dust yourself of and back in the SADDLE............................love the song.
Thanx Ladydodo! I'm doing pretty well :) just got home from faxing the form for oct 06 exam and spent time with friend. I did everything i can and its not the end of the world. When I think of the past 4 year, 3 month is nothing! I wish I passed but its what its................CONGRAS to all those who passed and doesn't have to go through it again:up:
And for the rest of us? try to have some fun and don't be hard on yourself:redbeathe
I just got my result and I faild by 2 POINTS! Gah! I live in Ottawa and I was wondering if there is anyone else that faild that would like to make a study group? Or does anyone knows were I can take prep class that isn't in toronto? I wrote my exam in french so if any one of you are french pm me.
hey there, I still don't have my results either!!! I am from Chatham, and I know of 1 other person in my city that also didn't receive theirs, as well as 2 from Windsor & 1 from Leamington. It's like a few random ones were missed in today's mail? Like theres a girl that lives around the corner from me, on the same mail route, and she got hers today. Hopefully tomorrow, if not I'm seriously going to have an MI because I can't stand waiting another weekend!
I used Mosbys review guide, 2 crne prep guides, did 80% on the online readiness test, read the compendium of standards.
I guess that wasn't enough? There was too much patho on my exam, it almost makes me want to buy NCLEX books as well. Those two CRNE prep guides were useless to me, the exam questions WERE ABSOLUTELY nothing like them. I hardly got any psycho-social questions.. ugh
Did anyone find that too? Does anyone else recommend some NCLEX books? Anyone else reccommend any other CRNE study-type books?
It's hard to keep my head up after being so close to a pass (119/121)..

A friend has recommended that I use the Lippincotts CRNE PREP GUIDE and the NCLEX INCREDIBLY MADE EASY.
Its so hard when you so much close, BUT forget about it and study so that you can improve on your marks. In October they are a few people writing as compared to June.....so lets hope we will go above the scoreline. All the best to you. Do a lot of practice questions!
