June 2010 CRNE Results

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Are you still on orientation, or do you have your own assignment? If you're on your own, then you definitely need to show up tomorrow, unless you've been told that the manager got your message and took you off the schedule! If you just assume that they got the message and aren't expecting you... you'll be messing things up for the charge nurse and night nurse who are waiting for you to get there, and and you'll be messing up your own chances for getting rehired once you pass the CRNE by looking irresponsible.

If nothing else... call the unit tonight and see if they still have you on the list for tomorrow.

I was still on Orientation, so i guess I did the right thing not to go because if I go I " WOULD BE DEFRAUDING MY EMPLOYER" i guess im following the competency of TRUTHFULLNESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

They have not yet responded though. Good luck to those still waiting.

This is all too stressful. Can someone explain to me how the CNO expects us to send in everything and be registered for an exam in October, this Monday (July 25th) if we don't know if we passed or failed as of yet! This is crazy!

Yes it is stressfull and as far as I know they are not extending the deadline date. So all the best to you.

Well for people who will receive their results late I would suggest that you fax your registration details and call them to acknowlwgde if they have received it before July 26th, CNO is accepting faxed completed registration forms for re-writes. My friend just did that yesterday!!!!!

So complete the registration and fax it to them before Monday 26th.

I am so confused now. i called cno and asked them this question, they told me they would give us extended time for registering the exam in october, now everyone is saying different things. what am i going to do? where can i find the registration form? i tried to look for in on website but couldn't, can someone give me a link? this is really crazy, they made this mess and we need to take the responsibility. it is not the right thing.

news people! One of my friends in Windsor just got her results! So they are hitting southwestern ontario finally! I'm an hour Northeast of Windsor but our mail hasn't come yet today...my stomach is in knots right now

CNO tele- repesenters ALL give different information as far as I can see. You dont even know who to trust.....the registration form comes with your results. So you have to wait for your results before you register. I know its stressfull with the time running out and all the conflicting reports. So hopefully you get your mail soon.

By the grace of God I have passed the June 2010 CRNE!!:yeah: I passed! I passed! Thank you God I passed!

I truly thought that I had failed because there were so many questions I was unsure of, and I was rushed through more than 50 at the end....

Thank you everyone for your support and updates on this site. It was because of the posts and comraderie here that I was prepared to face failure. I have posted before that you can be a GREAT nurse but a BAD test taker. It is true. Those who did not make it this time will have this experience to draw upon to empathize with future patients who are faced with their own failure and set backs.....

For those concerned with specifics (as I have been obsessed with) my envelope was thin and the postage was 00.57. Best wishes to all!

Results are in in Windsor here. Funny story: my boyfriend was over and I was stressed and agitated because I knew it was likely going to be today or tomorrow that results were in, and I've been terrified up until now. He had to leave for work and was mad at me because I was being sassy. As we were walking out to the car for him to leave, the mail lady walked by to the next house...needless to say, I rushed to the mailbox and it was the first envelope I pulled out....and...

It's a pass!!!!!!!! :lol2: Honestly haven't felt this much relief in a LONG time, not since my daughter was born and she was totally healthy. Congratulations to all those who were successful this time around, and as I mentioned before - to those who weren't, keep your head up, this is just the beginning of your wonderful careers that lie ahead of you. Best of luck in all your future endeavors :)

Windsor is getting it finally and I got mine just now. . All I can say is praise the Lord that I passed!!! It is truly a miracle from God because I felt horrrible after the exam.

All those who are waiting, hang in there and God speed. Those who are trying to write it in Oct, may God be with you as well!!
