June CEP applicants

Published

I know it's still a ways off but I was SUPER excited to see the application session was available for registration tonight! So I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying in June.

I'm applying for CEP with upper Iowa and I can't wait. I've already been in contact with the Iowa advisor and she has been SO incredibly helpful and nice answering my millions of questions and setting me up with a game plan for classes.

So who else is applying?

I scanned and e-mailed mine over Friday 😊

I actually called them to make sure they received my fax, call me paranoid!

Yeah, the person that I emailed it to was nice enough to e-mail back to say that it was received.

Otherwise my bee hind would have been calling too 😉

AzNurseG, I did my application process for NAU. I wanted to get my transcripts over right away. Make sure you use the orange paper they gave us when putting in information like what campus you are going to attend. After you have done that, NAU will notify you that your application has been received and then they will set you up on a portal for them. There you can see your to do list.

Did everyone fax/email their signed contract and agreement for placement at their Maricopa Community College site? I faxed mine over the day I received my letter. Also, anyone attending NAU start the application process?

Emailed mine on Saturday and asked for them to let me know if it was received and got an email back the same day :)

I'm not doing NAU but I did the application for UIU this weekend and sent my official transcripts over today.

I have started my application and financial aid process with ASU. Waiting for all my transcripts to get there. I have two other school beside Maricopa 😳

Emailed my contract the day I got it and started the app with UIU! Had GCU send a copy of my transcripts, now I just need to do the community college. So excited!

Hey all!

I'm new to this forum but I wanted to jump in and say hello! I got accepted to the emcc/ASU program and I am SO FREAKIN' EXCITED! I was hoping to connect with other EMCC nurses through here. I know this is going to be a big, crazy adventure and it's way more manageable with friends. I was also one of the GCU summer fast-track hopefuls who was let down. I feel extremely blessed to have been accepted into the CEP and I really feel like this was a better option anyways. Congrats to all those who made it in and I look forward to hearing from some of you! :)

Anyone else like me need to get all their immunizations up to date? Need to call my physician and get the ball rolling on that :)

I believe that I am up to date but I know I will need to go get a titer done to check and a Tb test done.

I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of CPR we are to have? Is it the BLS for healthcare professionals?

I am fairly certain that is the CPR we need.

I gave up on GCU in March and applied to NAU's traditional program in Tucson, i made that one but can;t take the drive. I started my app to NAU then and it was easy. 25 dollar app fee and some online questions plus transcripts. That's it.
