June CEP applicants

Published

I know it's still a ways off but I was SUPER excited to see the application session was available for registration tonight! So I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying in June.

I'm applying for CEP with upper Iowa and I can't wait. I've already been in contact with the Iowa advisor and she has been SO incredibly helpful and nice answering my millions of questions and setting me up with a game plan for classes.

So who else is applying?

I'm curious as to your choice for ASU over NAU, does't ASU require 15 more credits to graduate?

I can't get this thread to do what I want. Trin, I just set up an e-mail [email protected]. Any SCC students that want to get together and talk about study groups, car pool or just discuss the upcoming 2 plus years we will all be sharing together drop a line to [email protected]. SCC (underscore) _ NAU

I chose ASU over NAU because I don't want to have to take the three in class classes they require.

ASU is completely online.

It is BLS for healthcare professional and the community colleges offer them for 73$ I believe! I just took mine two weeks ago, as I got accepted into traditional nursing but then declined and am now NAU/CEP :)

What Maricopa campus?

The place I'm doing the BLS through is only $39 so definitely check around on prices!

It was at Scottsdale and the packet they gave for traditional had two options for getting your certification and they were either through Maricopa or some other option which I can't remember off hand. It's taught by a nursing professor for Scottsdale too which is nice!

I'm trying to get into the CEP program with GCC/UIU. I noticed that this board is mainly students that just got into the program. Does anyone have information on what the classes are like at the UIU campus in Mesa? I have 3 more prereqs to take and I'm hoping to start the program in the Fall of 2016.

Thanks,

Brandon

I'm doing all the UIU classes online so I won't be at the Mesa campus at all. I do know that all of their classes are 8 weeks long.

Duplicate, sorry.

Hi! I have been told over the phone that I was accepted with UIU traditional at PC, it was my 5th choice. The bring is that I haven't heard from them yet. Does your acceptance email give a contact person? So frustrating.

I think that is the CPR we need too. I do mine through a couple, who comes into my home. It was super convenient and my daughter was able to get certified too.
