June CEP applicants

Published

I know it's still a ways off but I was SUPER excited to see the application session was available for registration tonight! So I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying in June.

I'm applying for CEP with upper Iowa and I can't wait. I've already been in contact with the Iowa advisor and she has been SO incredibly helpful and nice answering my millions of questions and setting me up with a game plan for classes.

So who else is applying?

Is there a group for NAU/ GWCC that I can join. I would like to meet all of you :)

How's everyone doing? I'm getting ready to register for my first UIU class. I was going to wait to take it in Jan but I don't qualify for pell grants this year so I'm going to take it this fall and just get it out of the way. Pretty excited!

That's so exciting! When are you planning on starting the class?

Still waiting for UIU to accept me. Stupid GCU and their slowness getting transcripts out...

That's awesome AZBluebell. I just got admitted to ASU today still have a few kinks to work out and still waiting for financial aid to fully process my fasfa. I have high hopes that will be done before the start of fall semester which is Aug 20th for me.

Other than that I am wait for my titer test results, I go back in a week to get my second ppd test done, and I still need to do my CPR 😋

I'm going to do term 2 which is oct-dec.

I'm taking 2 classes online to fill my humanities starting in August. So should be a pretty laid back semester for me with not having to actually attend any classes in person! I try to take everything that's not science or math online :)

Hopefully GCU sends the transcripts soon!

Yay! Being admitted makes it just that much more real :)

How exciting! I finally received my acceptance letter and sent my transcripts last week. I hope to hear from UIU soon. It's going to be nice for you to get rid of some classes before hand because from what I hear the blocks are no easy task!:woot:

I can't wait to finally be admitted to NAU. Congrats to everyone who's already been admitted into their university! I pretty much have everything ready to go as far as my transcripts being sent, CPR Certification and immunizations...I'm just wigging about financial aid. With my previous degree, I was fortunate to live at home, while working full-time to pay my tuition. I'm just nervous about the process, especially because I work full-time now, but may go down to part-time if the work load becomes too much. I know my questions will get answered at orientation, so here's hoping all goes in my favor!

I believe it is the BLS Healthcare professionals. I took the course 1yr ago for a CNA course I took for PC. I took it with the American red cross. But I do not remember the details. I will look up the info.

I scanned my acceptance letter to PC and sent over my transcripts last week. I applied with UIU last week as well, I am just waiting to be accepted by UIU. So excited!

Hi!

I'm applying to every school in Arizona, so that includes the CEP program my first choice is going to be PVCC and NAU. But I am also applying to the Tucson NAU campus, I saw somebody applied there and got in. I was wondering if i could ask them what their GPA and Kaplan scores were. Im also applying to ASU for the Spring start. What do you guys think about the CEP program?? I think I'm just going to try to at least get into NAU the traditional program, and if not then I'm going to pray I get accepted into a CEP program. Is the process easy??

Yes, the process is pretty simple. You fill out an application and apply to the regular wait list. You have to attend a CEP information session and Then you can apply for the CEP during the application sessions. Those are typically done on February (for a Fall placement) and May/June (for a Spring placement). Good luck!
