Hey y'all! Just wanted to see who else is scheduled for NCLEX in July so we can maybe keep each other accountable to study goals, share study woes, good prep books, etc.
My date is July 11th, can't wait!!
I'm doing the NCSBN, Kaplan book, LaCharity, Lippincott and Mosby books, and reviewing ATI books from my school. From what I've read, I think I should get Saunders too... seems like the questions are good.
i did the qt 7 with kaplan which had 265q and i got 61%. i'm taking it on the 6th and still reviewing content because i don't feel ready and i can't reschedule either.
I'm taking mine the same day as you and feel the same way!! From what I have heard on here, Kaplan questions seem to be harder than other resources. As the time gets closer, I feel dumber and dumber...lol
How come you can't reschedule? I thought you change your time within 24hours of testing?

i have up to the 15th of August to take the exam (90days after school), but i just too one whole week from work to study and answer que. i would love to take it before i go back to work on the 7th; also the fellowship program i applied is hiring 2 candidate out of 10 on the IMC unit and the final interview is second week in july, and you must have pass the boards my then to get accepted in it. I'm just praying and believing in God for a miracle and His favor. oh and my time is 8 am:eek:
how's everybody's studying going? we've been focusing on endocrine and gi lately since there are SO many small diseases and procedures. I just got LaCharity and LOVE it! Highly recommend it if you still have time to add. I did the first Qtrainer on slideshare and got a 70%, so I'm not too bummed about that. Helps me know what I need to review. I agree that the Saunders CD questions are too easy, but I think it's probably a good review of content at any rate. Hope so!
I just did 265 questions on Nclex 3500 and got 72%. I thought this was pretty good, but not really where I would want to be two days before the exam! Last night I did the CD that came with the Kaplan book and got 77%, has anyone else done that one?
Like a lot of you, I am also feeling incredibly stressed! UGH
Good luck to all taking the test today and in the month of July.
Can we compile a list or does some one already have a list of drugs that should be taken with a meal and those without a meal.
bromocriptine, Indomethacin and Tagemet are are taken WITH MEALS
does anyone have some more?
Let's do this!!
Anxiety seriously kicking in...4 days to go... Here's a couple tips I picked up in my studying: airborne you keep the door closed, contact and droplet you can leave door open, private rooms for all 3 but if you were forced to room one of these patients with another person it has to be with a patient who has the same EXACT disease. Also, if an airborne or droplet person had to leave their room, you must put a mask on them during transfer. Hope this serves useful.

My time is 8am too:eek: and I am NOT a morning person so that's strike one against me...lol.. I am probably gonna take a benadyrl or something that night before to help me sleep because I usually don't go to bed till around 2 or 3 in the morning!
We are now in July and I feel like I'm gonna throw up anytime!!
