Hey y'all! Just wanted to see who else is scheduled for NCLEX in July so we can maybe keep each other accountable to study goals, share study woes, good prep books, etc.

My date is July 11th, can't wait!!

I'm doing the NCSBN, Kaplan book, LaCharity, Lippincott and Mosby books, and reviewing ATI books from my school. From what I've read, I think I should get Saunders too... seems like the questions are good.

Hey!! Mine is schedule for the 6th.

I did a local review course that was highly recommended by friends. also have Kaplan Strategy, Saunders, Nclex Made Incredibly Easy, LaCharity...lol.

I'm using the review notes for contents, because Saunders is just overwhelming. So I'm using Made Easy and Saunders for questions, doing about 100qs a day.

Don't use LaCharity much although I have heard the rave review it's gotten. It just that the very first question in there threw me for a loop. I just don't agree with the answer and rationale given for that one, and shown some friends the question and we all chose the same answer! That first question kinda made me a little suspicious ...lol... I know you probably can't judge a book by just one question and I could be wrong about the answer; but I'm just hesitant.

Anyhoo.. I am about to start reading through my notes and making flashcards.

July 7th here!! Still on saunders content..Dont know if i"ll be ready by then..goodluck to all of us !

july 6th!!!!! oh Jesus take the wheel!!! using saunders, kaplan, hurst, lacharity, nclex 101, alternative style by lippincott, exam cram, OMG this is absurd. i feel so all over the place. i need to get organize and stick to just one plan. can someone please help me?

July 5th let's do this!!!

July 9th here.......I am using Hurst Review, she is awesome in just giving you what you need to know for content. LaCharity, excellent for Prioritization, Saunders Q&A, Strategies for Alternate Item Formats on the NCLEX-RN by Linda Anne Silvestri PhD RN....I am doing approximately 150 questions a day, when I do not have to work, I am currently working 3 days a week now.

I am consistently scoring in the 70 - 80 percentile, so I am hoping this is a good sign, in a couple of weeks, I will practice math questions and pray that 3rd time is a charm......good luck all July takers.......:)

Well, I am using LaCharity, Saunders, ATI, and Prep U. Oh, and I just found the slideshare for kaplan Question Trainer 1-7. I just did the QT1, and had a 68% score (51 out of 75questions). Hope I can improve on that. July test takers lets do this!

Good luck to July testers!

July 5th. Haven't studied much yet but looks like I need to get busy. Plan on just studying the hurst review book and materials that came with the review course.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Rehab.

July 7, I'm using Kaplen, Illustrated NCLEX RN, and NCLEX 3500. I am praying for everyone!!!

:)

July 11 Tooo... Getting so nervous, but I am sure we will all do well. I'm using LaCharity, Kaplan Strategies, Saunders, and slideshare question trainer. Good Luck everybody.

Nice to see that there are others besides myself using hurst, lets help each other out! Im using primarily hurst online review and kaplan. So far these are my trainer scores: 1-71, 2-71,3-58,4-68,5-69,6-70,7-69. Im doing between 100-150 questions per day with kaplan, and once I end the qbank (700 q to go), I'm going to do the 5 practice tests hurst provided ( did 1 already, scored 98/125 ). In between doing questions, I review about 5 or 6 of the handouts that go along with the videos from hurst. I also have the lacharity book, and i'm going to try to fit that in as well. hopefully this will be enough!
