  1. Hi Guys! Think it really depends on your location, I'm here in Georgia and I had 3 job offers before I graduated. I did work as a PCT for 2 semesters and had good grades, but most of the people in my class have jobs lined up, contingent on passing the nclex! I literally found out today that I passed the nclex and will be starting orientation July 18th for my position at icu step down! I feel so grateful that jobs around here aren't as scarce as it seems in other places!!
  2. Took my nclex yesterday (Fri) at 2pm... 75 questions... 12 SATA, 1 med, 1 put in order, 1 pic, questions were very hard for me... left the test feeling like I easily could've failed this test...I studied hard, and felt that nothing I studied was on this test!!! Came home and checked PearsonVue and I got the good popup... it's makes me feel a little better since it seems everyone pretty much says the trick works, but I'm still nervous, probably will be until I get my official results!! I'm sooooooooooo Anxious!
  3. Taking it the 1st... this Friday... feel like I'm going to vomit!
  4. Also, the spinal cord injury position is evenings 3p-midnight, and the telemetry position is nights midnight to 8am. I have no problem working nights if it is worth it for the experience, but if it's equal I prefer evenings.
  5. Hello all! I will be graduating from a BSN program in May 2011. I have been preselected at my local VA for 2 positions, one in the Spinal Cord Injury floor and one on the telemetry floor. I do not know what will be the best option for me as my ultimate goal is to move to an adult ICU as soon as I get the proper experience. I have great grades and a student job in a SICU. Anyone have any opinions on which experience will better lead me to my goal?
  6. Hey, I'm also trying to get in to ASU's BSN program Jan 2010, You said you got accepted into the program? or just into ASU? I applied and they told me they weren't going to be letting anyone know until around Thanksgiving. I'm also post-bach,, what is your last pre-req? Let me know if you have any questions about ASU, Laters!
