Hey y'all! Just wanted to see who else is scheduled for NCLEX in July so we can maybe keep each other accountable to study goals, share study woes, good prep books, etc.
My date is July 11th, can't wait!!
I'm doing the NCSBN, Kaplan book, LaCharity, Lippincott and Mosby books, and reviewing ATI books from my school. From what I've read, I think I should get Saunders too... seems like the questions are good.
Thanks Pinkie, I couldnt sleep at all..now its 431 and I am up..LOLOh well just review some stuff..
Hi ! Today is your big day! woot woot! It's okay, reviewing is good.. just not too much! you will be fine! really! take a nice deep breath. if you get stuck on a problem, don't just randomly guess. try your very very best to make the best guess. every question is an opportunity to take you to the passing side.
when you come in:
1. they will get you ATT letter! --don't forget to bring that with you
2. they will take pic of you, finger print, palm print, searched, throw your gum away, make you put away your stuff in a locker
3. ask for an ear plug if white noise or any noise will bother you
4. JUST BREATH
you will do great! I will be cheering for you! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
Took the NCLEX yesterday at 2:00 pm, walked out of there at 2:45, told myself I did not take long enough...it seemed like HALF my questions were select all that apply...at 75 the screen went blue! Left the testing site drove a mile down the road to a coffee shop with free wi-fi...did the pvt and got the good pop up.
I used ATI, only did the tests with rationales. I believe half the battle is understanding what the question is asking, after that all the answer's are before you! Now the next step, getting a job! I have a feeling that will be harder than NCLEX!
Took mine today shut off at 120 questions..felt not sure about it..got home got the good pop up..so now just waiting on my official results... 1 math question, 7 SATA...alot of priority questions..lots of meds especially insulin...Humalin N and Humalin R...thank to whoever gave the Nicole Richie RN mneumonic worked really well since it was put them in order...Now only if I could find a job..lol
