JULY NCLEX-ers!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey y'all! Just wanted to see who else is scheduled for NCLEX in July so we can maybe keep each other accountable to study goals, share study woes, good prep books, etc.

My date is July 11th, can't wait!!

I'm doing the NCSBN, Kaplan book, LaCharity, Lippincott and Mosby books, and reviewing ATI books from my school. From what I've read, I think I should get Saunders too... seems like the questions are good.

Specializes in Neurosciences, cardiac, critical care.
HI, I live in California too, and took my boards on TUESDAY JULY 12TH...I got the GOOD POP UP, so how long will it take for my name to post on BON? since your last post have any good news for you or your friend?

You can call the BRN and see if your file is complete- sometimes it takes schools a long time to send transcripts in, and they won't post your name on the website until they've received and reviewed all of your transcripts.

FAILED!!! I went to 201 and knew I was going to fail and did. It really was my fault, my studying was horrible. However, I wanted to take the test because it was paid for and I wanted to know what to study for. EVERYTHING, EVERYONE gave tips to study was the TRUTH TRUTH... hehehehe, to bad I saw this just now and not before. Anyhow, I am confident I will pass the next time. I only studied cardio meds, and went over Endocrine and Cardio alot. I did Renal but somehow did bad on DM.... I should have reviewed my labs better... I DID GREAT ON MATH AND ONLY HAD 2....But i have always been good with that...... Hmmm, anyhow, I am not sad, actually I am relieved, I have more time and now I know what to study :) In the meantime Ill get my First Aid/CPR license renewed, IV cert and continue visiting the forum, quizing and sign up for a review class or something...

ANY TIPS ON ANY ONLINE REVIEWS? OR CLASS? I have Saunders and Frys really help, I just didnt go over anything well.

Sad that you didn't pass but happy you are being positive. I didn't pass my first time for the same reasons you didn't, bad study habit. I've gotten really serious this time and I feel prepared to take it in two week to the point where I check the pearson site to see if theres any early dates, but I told myself I should keep it and it's in god's hands. I think Saunders is a great book to review content, get the La Charity. I didn't do a live review because I can't afford it, but I heard Hurst was the best. Good Luck and next time you will pass.

Hmmm so I finished taking the test and the computer shut off at 217 questions. But I am trying to do the PVT and it says an account doesn't exist under my name anymore. WTH????:confused:

IDK what to think. That was hard and I truly have no idea if I passed or not.

When I tried to sign in a pop up came in that said that some passwords had been changed so I might have trouble signing in. I contacted them, got a new password, and GOT THE GOOD POP UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully it's true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a TON of "which pt would you see first" type questions, a TON of mother/newborn/L&D questions and only 1 math question (an easy one).

I can't wait to find out tomorrow if it's true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

I didn't like ATI very much to be honest. I think it was my tutor though. A lot of my classmates liked ATI.

I really found the Kaplan review book to be very helpful.
