Hello, I'm new to this site, but I keep seeing people mentioning the "TRICK"...... may I ask what that is? *New ADN student

SATA = select all that apply. It means the question has more than 1 answer and you have to get them all right or it's all wrong. They are tough!

The trick is you sign onto your account at Pearson Vue after taking the boards. If you try to schedule your test again and it says something to the effect that you can't, then that means you passed. If a window comes up asking you for your credit card number, you failed. Basically you can't sign up for a test date if you passed and you can if you failed. The pop up worked for me.

The Nichole Richie RN thing was written a few posts ago so just go back to the previous page.

Tomorrow is the big day for me. I've felt really stressed today. I had a lot more things that I wanted to review but today, my brain has not wanted to study much. I think I'm just going to do the best I can and put it in the Lord's hands. I'm continuing to pray for all those preparing to take the NCLEX.

Thanks so much RansomS

My nerves are still feeling a little out of whack. The test honestly wasn't terrible. It looks very simple to the Kaplan QBank and Qtrainer screens. I had 75 questions, in about an hour and a half. I was really trying to take my time. I had 13 Select All That Apply, 7 Who should you see first, 1 Exhibit that was coupled with a SATA, and 1 put in order question. I also had about 5 priority questions that determined if the new nurse is able to prioritize correctly. I had about 10-15 drugs and no drug calculations (I was a little disappointed about that). I do feel that the Kaplan QBank & QTrainer questions were harder than the actual exam. I got to my bf's house and tried the PVT and got the good pop-up!! I'm excited but still feel a little numb. Will update when I find out that I truly passed! Good luck to all those still preparing to take the exam. Feel free to ask me any questions at all.

angelrina good thing you're already done with the test. will have mine on Thursday. I am nervous. It is kind of hard to study when you have a toddler who bothers you most of the time. lol!

Toshi, I know what you mean. I have a 4 year old little brother and a family who made it difficult sometimes. Just do the best you can. :) Try to remember basic concepts, that will help you when you get the questions.

I took the Nclex on the 22nd ...the screen went blank at 92 questions... I left the test site barely remembering my name much less actual questions on my exam. I was unsure of how I did on the test. The more I thought about it the more I doubted myself... I went home mustered up the courage to do the PVT...and I got the GOOD POP UP!!.... I nearly passed out... I double check on the 24th via quick results (I had to)....and I did pass... got my license number Monday... it is official!!
