Hey y'all! Just wanted to see who else is scheduled for NCLEX in July so we can maybe keep each other accountable to study goals, share study woes, good prep books, etc.

My date is July 11th, can't wait!!

I'm doing the NCSBN, Kaplan book, LaCharity, Lippincott and Mosby books, and reviewing ATI books from my school. From what I've read, I think I should get Saunders too... seems like the questions are good.

NCLEX is scheduled for July 25th!! I'm ONLY using Kaplan. Terrified that that may not be enough. I feel completely unprepared :eek:. My QT scores suck! I have horrible question anxiety, I get so exhausted after like 50 questions. I'm praying for a miracle you guys!!

Hi Jizzy11. I read your post and it sounds like you have so much anxiety. Maybe now might not be a good time for you to take the test. One of my friends used to have that same type of anxiety that you're describing. When she took the test, she didn't do well. Maybe you should postpone your test by a couple weeks and take some more time to do more practice questions so you can feel more confident and relaxed.

I feel that everyone that's preparing for the NCLEX has some type of anxiety, (lord knows I do) however, yours seems to be extremely high. I don't want you to psych yourself out and mess up. We all have to realize that taking this test is going to be the beginning of something wonderful. The worst thing that could happen is that you would have to take it again which certainly isn't the end of the world for any of us. Try to remember that and hopefully you can relax a bit. Keep doing as many questions as you can to build up your confidence. The more questions you do, the better you will score.

Did my last Qtrainer, got an 80!!! =D good thing because the most important test I've ever taken is in 10 hours..... wish me luck!

OMG you got an 80!!! That's great!!!!! They tell us we should shoot for a 60. I'm so happy for you!! Can't wait for you to tell us how you did! Thanks so much for starting this amazing thread! My test date is July 22. I just did Qtrainer 6 and got a 67! Let us know how the exam went!! I'm praying for you!!! :)

wOw that was the weirdest test I've ever taken, not sure if it was the hardest. Reminded me a lot of ATI. I finished at 75, had 3 questions on the same med (checked @ home and realized that I actually answered them right =D) and.... GOOD popup! I'm so happy that was over! Good luck to all the other testers today (and this month).... you can do it! :nurse:

:eek::eek::eek:Okay...now I'm worried. I live in California too, and I took my test on July 7th and from what I thought...its suppose to take two business days before your name posted on the BON. I keep getting the good pop up as well, and my name hasn't posted. Then again, I didn't expect to see my name yet. However, I would expect to see it on Monday or Tuesday. The board doesn't up date their records on the weekends, so are you sure your friend's name posted on Saturday? Let me know if you name comes up because right now...I'm a little worried that your friend's name posted on Saturday and mine's didn't being that I took the test on the 7th and got the "good pop up" too.

The website says they don't update on weekends, but for some reason last week the updates for the previous day weren't appearing until the next morning - so Friday's, July 8th's update, didn't appear until Saturday morning. Maybe it had something to do with the holiday? Who knows.. I checked this morning and it said it was updated for the 10th, but my name still isn't there :confused: Hopefully tomorrow!! I really hope the PVT wasn't lying to me!! Everyone here in CA seems to be having their names posted at random times..

After reading numerous blogs I finally decided to make an account:) I'm taking mine a week from now and I am terrified. My best friend in nursing school already passed. We performed the same way during nursing school, and almost got the same scores in Kaplan. I've been doing nothing but study since we graduated and I feel tired!!!! I'm sticking with Kaplan and will study till I drop. Got a 70% on qt 7 so hopefully that's a good sign! Good luck guys!!!:smokin:
