Johns Hopkins 2015 ABSN & Masters Entry

Published

This thread is for applicants applying to Johns Hopkins, for either the ABSN or the new Master's Entry program. I've searched a few times and haven't found a thread for this year's admissions cycle, so I decided to start one.

After lots of thinking, I decided to apply to the Master's Entry instead of the ABSN. Anyone else out there applying?

I got an email first. I am overseas...

I was waitlisted. They refuse to tell me how far down I am, but did reassure me I should feel honored to be there. Thanks. I wish everyone good luck I would be happy to share my stats with anyone who is wondering where they fall. My GPA was 3.8 so congrats to the people who got accepted you must be super smartie pants!

I hope everyone gets decisions they want to hear!

Anyone out there applying to post BSN- MSN NP program and heard an admission decision yet!?

Posting here because this thread has a lot of activity!

Specializes in OPERATING ROOM.

Per admission office, by the end of this week which is tomorrow. Hopefully....

Hi

I just joined this site in hopes of finding others that applied to John Hopkins. To the ones that got accepted, what is your educational background? I am curious because I want to compare it to my credentials to see if I have a shot at getting in. I appreciate your help. :-)

Hi, I just posted a comment regarding stats as a matter of fact. What is your educational background if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry for the repeats I am obviously still trying to figure this out. :-)

Hi all- I got my financial aid packet today through ISIS and it was very disappointing. It was all loans and a minimal (1%) amount in work-study. Was yours similar?

Mine included some grants but all together it will most likely not be enough.

I got my financial package too. Duke gave me a much generous financial aid award. however, they did include laptop costs, but why would I buy a new laptop anyway... @snaiszy, no grants? The SON told me the maximum grant they give is 17,000

@jess674 are you in the absn program?

And I called fin aid and graduate programs don't have any need-based scholarships or grants. :(
