Things seem to be unfolding rather quickly. Former White House aides and advisors are scrambling to cover themselves as they receive subpoenas to appear and produce documents.

But Jeffrey Clark, the former Justice Department lawyer who reportedly tried to help Donald Trump overturn the 2020 presidential election, is now claiming the privilege against self-incrimination to avoid testifying before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. He has just been joined in that posture by one of Trump’s main outside legal advisers, John Eastman.
The lawsuit comes after the committee signaled it would pursue a criminal contempt referral against Meadows because of his refusal to sit for a deposition in the investigation into the Capitol riot. Meadows alleges that the subpoenas are "overly broad and unduly burdensome," while claiming that the committee "lacks lawful authority to seek and to obtain" the information requested.
And apparently Mark Meadows had a power point outlining how to overturn election results.
The 38-page presentation, entitled "Election Fraud, Foreign Interference & Options for 6 Jan," is dated one day before the Capitol riot. It's believed to have been submitted by Meadows after he was subpoenaed by the panel in connection with the insurrection.
The lack of moral or ethical courage among republican leadership when it comes to Trump is telling. This is a political movement of dishonesty and willingness to undo our republic. It's no longer just about Trump.

Why would any oil company want to attempt to drill for oil when this administration has attacked oil companies on a daily basis? Biden's own words saying he wants to make sure we don't use any oil or gas period. If you think an economy can recover with fuel prices are this high is just fantasy. Recession next year that is going to make 2007 look like child's play.

We've had this discussion before. Oil companies aren't drilling because of high profits, not because of Biden demonizing them on a daily basis.
Big oil really doesn't care about recession. They are recession proof as people will continue to gobble up oil. The exception being the global pandemic which isn't a very common occurrence and lockdown is very unlikely in the US ever again.

I was inferring to the idea that anyone who votes Republican is also "undoing our republic", because it's the entire party now not "just Trump". That's a weird question given that Clinton conceded loss and the only people who attacked the capitol because of an imagined rigged election were Trump supporters.
