I take the test in less than a month. I try to study but when I try to recal the lectures all I remember is my teacher sounding like the techer on Charlie Brown (wah wa waha wa wah) and when I go through the reveiw books it feels like everything I have learned has drained with the mucous of my cold. I know that I didnt store the information in my short term memory because I got wonderful grades on my finals, and I graduated with a 3.4 GPA. Im sitting on a 1:1 and Im becomming more and more anxious as the time passes (my pt is out like a light). Thanks for letting me vent.

I registered for January 30th. I was surprised that there were hardly any days available in January in Dallas. Anyway, good luck you all.

There is power in prayer and it certainly won't hurt any of us! I'll take all the help I can get! Thanks for the prayers! Let's keep the light going. I just graduated Dec 19th and I sit for boards Jan 11. I'm flipping out a little thinking I might be going to soon. I'm going to reschedule if I feel like I'm not ready. So far I love Saunders and actually used it to study for exams at school by each system in Adult 2. I am also taking a 2 hour review class on Jan 9th. I suppose I'll decide whether to chicken out then. I just don't want to wait too long. I already feel sedentary inertia creeping into my brain! :studyowl:
Good Luck to all of us!!!!

The following websites give all drug and food/substances interactions for e.g. drugs where you dont take grapefruit juice etc...

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TESTING IN JANUAURY!
I have a quick question... does anyone know anything about rnquiz.com? i am thinking of using this, but i need to know how long the review is. the website doesnt give details about lenght of the review. i did a search here, but didnt find much
thanks in advance
Hi, I am trying the rnquiz.com and found it really helpful because it also has notes on it and besides it is reasonable priced and for a year, the only downside is that it does not have pharmacology notes.
Good luck to everyone, I test in january as well

Hello.. I have just taken boards on December 13 th for my license as a practical nurse and I passed it with 85 questions in an hour. Okay, I am not here to bring any attention to myself because, God is the reason for my success. However, I am here to encourage your hearts, doubts, fears, and uncertainties about whether you can, will and should retake boards ,if this is your case; that you are going to make it!!!!!!!!! I promise you can and will conquer this thing. You are reading the email of a mother of three boys and husband who has always wanted to be a nurse. In 2005 my life was suddenly impacted with the affects of hurricane Katrina. I enrolled in college with three sets of clothes. No car,no job!!! I was an A student in my core classes and made my first B in Nursing school. I dealt more than anything with the battlefield in my mind telling me I couldn't make it. I had to take a HESI examination and did not take boards until three months of completion of Nursing school. God is in control. Your life is purposed and he wants to bless you. If you failed don't give up . If you are scheduled affirm your completion and do it. I am so proud and thankful to a great GOD for my license. I do intend to go back for my RN but when he seasons my time. Bless you guys.
