Hi Friends!
I am taking the NCLEX in January. I will graduate from my Accelerated BSN program in mid-December, just before Christmas. This is an 11.5 month ABSN program and is make-your-head-spin-fast!
I am still deciding whether I will take the Hurst Review or the Kaplan Review, but I do have the Saunders 4th Edition NCLEX-RN Comprehensive Review book. It is huge! Honestly, I feel overwhelmed and feel like I do not know where to begin. I will just begin at the beginning! Care to join me on this wild ride?!?! We can encourage one another along the way!:typing
As part of my study program, I want to incorporate exercising at least 20 minutes a day and eating healthier snacks. Grabbing an apple and cheese instead of pepsi and cheetos!:pumpiron:
Let's do this thing!!!!
:yelclap:

Count me in as a January test taker. I just applied this morning to my state BON so I'm hoping to have my ATT soon to schedule the actual date.I have the Saunders book and CD and I also have the Pearson review book.
And I do nclex3500 pretty much daily.
Well, I wish all of you luck. I ended up taking mine already Dec. 1 and passed. It's a great ending to an incredible journey.
hi! i'm planning to take the exam the second time around. i took the test last aug. and failed. i didn't really dedicate my time reviewing. not that i didn't want too but i think the factors affected me were, 1. lack of motivation, 2. poor study guide- no idea where to start since i graduated four years ago, 3. got overwhelmed with many review materials...etc.
this time i wanna make sure that i'll be able to smell the success.. (i'm sure every future examinees feel the same way)
i hope you post your experiences as well, your strategies, study guides, etc... pls let's help each other to achieve our success..
your reply is highly appreciated!!=o)

i am retaking nclex after failing it last aug. i didn't really dedicate myself reviewing, not because i didn't want too but many factors affected me like 1. lack of motivation, 2. i didn't know where to start since i graduated 4 years ago, 3. got overwhelmed with so many review materials that i got lost, and many more.. i realized i wasted my time coz of it.. i'm sure some of us here experienced/experiencing the same thing...
and now, i'm trying to give all my best to pass the test. i wanna smell the success i've been dreaming of...
