Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?
Hey congrats to everyone that got accepted. I just have a question. I noticed the day to register for classes for the winter term is Monday October 14.... Can we register? or do we have to wait for the pre-admission meeting?
Wait for preadmission. They are ADAMANT in that you register CORRECTLY. They WILL drop you if you register incorrectly. They will send you course codes that you register for on the same campus of your choosing. Congrats on being accepted!

I am a retracking student getting back into BC January 2014. I am now an LPN going back into my Pediatric theory class since I passed the clinicals back in October 2010. I took a year off then I went into the LPN program in Sheridan. I actually cant wait to get back though I know there will be different professors so it will be hard to tell how each professor will be all over again. If anyone has any questions let me know, I might be able to help. Good lucks guys!
