I have learned that I seem to be the "Go To" when my AN friends are butt tired and need a post posted...and I like that.
I've learned that I miss the girls (and guy) on the School Nurse Forum.
I've learned that tomatoes are hardy.
I've learned that tears help sometimes.
I've learned that my mom is one of the strongest people I know.
Hmmm, I haven't learned much, but the week is still young.
I'm sure ixchel will check in. No worries. In the meantime...What have you learned this week?
I wish I could do that, but I have epilepsy. Everyone yells at me if I don't get enough sleep. That's why I make it such a big deal to work ahead because I can't stay up super late & study/do homework.
I know you can't and that does kind of suck (not the epilepsy, that definitely sucks, I mean the staying up part) especially with little kids. I'm lucky my 3 year old got put into special ed pre-k or else I would be up the creek my friends.
I hope he's one of those kids whose teeth just pop out instead of doing the "out and in" thing, Chaos. Gets it over quick and goes nack to happy boy.
I'm sorry you misconstrued the true meaning of my post, and I wasn't very clear with that, and offended you.I understand about trying to keep ahead. Although I don't have children, I do care for an ailing parent at home, on my own. Last semester, when I took A&P 1, I was also working 60 hours a week as a nurse manager. I am much happier this semester to be only working 32 hours, back on the floor.
Again, I'm sorry I offended you, that wasn't my intention.
Keep up the good work.
You too!! We all have our own crap.
*hugs*

I pulled all my kids teeth out to avoid this. They both have full dentures. Paying the Tooth Fairy? That was the ***** of it.

I hope they come out fast. He's been miserable for days. It's the top premolars. He's cranky & drooling like crazy. My poor little baby!

Honestly, when I was going through all the crap with my braces & afterwards, I wanted to get full dentures. I'm missing two teeth & at one point I just thought, it would be so much easier to just have dentures.
I was in braces long after high school & didn't get my bridge (I planned on getting implants but it didn't work out) until my mid-twenties.

I have all my teeth and also my 4 wisdom teeth, never had braces. My dentist told me I have a "primordial jaw".
I'm one of those people that brush twice a day, floss after every meal, mouthwash, cleaning every 6 months... and my teeth still crumble away. I've had so many dental treatments I could have had all my teeth pulled and pretty new implants put in but the dentists refuse.
Teeth are horrible, horrible things aren't they?

My gums are bad, and I'm only 23 I've always brushed 2x a day, flossed, gone to the dentist. I don't understand it, but now I go to the dentist every 4 months. So expensive.
