ixchel's 8/15 This Week I Have Learned...

Published

I have learned that I seem to be the "Go To" when my AN friends are butt tired and need a post posted...and I like that.

I've learned that I miss the girls (and guy) on the School Nurse Forum.

I've learned that tomatoes are hardy.

I've learned that tears help sometimes.

I've learned that my mom is one of the strongest people I know.

Hmmm, I haven't learned much, but the week is still young.

I'm sure ixchel will check in. No worries. In the meantime...What have you learned this week?

I think I started out on the wrong foot with my A&P professor. I hope this doesn't keep me from getting an A. :/

Are you doing this class online as well as micro?

So, is it like biscotti?

Kind of...

Yes, through New Mexico Junior College. I'm retaking them because they are older than 5 years.

I e-mailed the prof to ask where I submit my work, she got all bent out of shape because I was working ahead & not going in order. I explained to her that it wasn't my first time taking A&P but then I told her I go in order from now on. Ugh. >.

I like olives too. Green, black, and kalamata.

I learned more about trachs at a skills fair today. And that a lot of respiratory tech terns sound quite naughty.

All this and she sings like an angel, folks!

Oh that's a bummer that she got upset :/ You probably want to get ahead while you can, especially since you have a kid. My foundations teacher won't let us work ahead because she doesn't want us to take too much in without actually learning it well, and I agree with her. But you've already taken A&P :/

The 5 year thing. Ugh.

My class doesn't start until Monday and I'm already working on my notes for the first chapter we're going over. I've had this professor twice before. She expects I know my stuff.

Same here. I'll have 12 chapters read, outlined, and on flash cards by the first day of class. That way I'll have more time to put toward benevolently dictating instructions to my group project buddies. 😁

Jk. I'm not really a dictator.

Lies.

No judgment. When it comes to group projects, you have to work with what you have. ;) Bring on the dictatorship.

Hey, you said benevolent! Sounds good to me. Group projects can be a ral crapshoot, depending on the attitudes/work ethics/intelligence of your group members. Good lucknand I hope you have good members! :)
