Ivy Tech Thread

I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

I e-mailed the nursing director yesterday and asked her if she could tell me what # alternate I am on the list. She said that I'm number 5, but that a few people have declined their seats, so I'm quickly moving up. She also said she's going to check the list after the acceptance date of Oct. 3 and then will be contacting alternates. Wish me luck!!!

I'm new to the thread and am trying to get caught up on everyones story- I know you are on alternate list, but didn't see which campus......

It sucks that you guys are feeling this way about waiting for letters. I know I went through the same thing you are. I do know that it was way over a week after the suggested mail date that I even got anything from any of the campuses. And at least two weeks from that date (May 30th) when I got my final letter.

Just be patient! It'll come.... eventually. :rolleyes:

I know your pain. I want to know now! It might be an idea to post the total points and campus we are waiting to hear from. I have 205 points and am at columbus Ivy Tech. Hope that will be enough to get me into the ASN Spring 09 program. I am worried thats all I applied for.:eek:

Hi there! I'm in my first semester at Columbus! You will definitely get in with 205 points at Columbus! I would be shocked if you didn't!! :wink2:

I applied to Gary and Valpo for ASN program only. I have a total sore of 207. I also wished I would have applied for LPN but can't cry over spilled milk :bluecry1:. Good luck to all of us!

I'm low man on the totem pole. I applied to Fort Wayne with 202:imbar

I did hear that historically you've never needed more than 200. Watch this will be the semester that 203 is the cutoff:(

It was that darn TEAS that did it to me.....I have a 4.0:rolleyes:

I am sure you will get in. It is that darn TEAS. believe me i know. I took it 3 times but it was a waste because I ended up staying with my first score, which was the highest. Makes me want to scream :yawn:. Oh well. Lets just hope for the best. Hey, I guess I will just try to keep busy until the mailman comes........:uhoh21:
