Hey guys here is a new thread, now that we've started the program and aren't 'hopefuls' anymore!!

Did the powerpoints for the Nutrition lecture ever get posted to blackboard? I haven't checked yet.

Glad to hear your comp. went fine. Did you have phenobarb and digoxin?

Yep, those were my drugs....I heard those a lot, so I think all of the stations had those two. Of course, they could always switch it up for another group--just to keep us on our toes!

I'm excited. . . just saw that I got OB/Peds for summer! It doesn't say where the clinical is though, I'm sure it's not been figured out yet. I got Nursing 112 A1H, and Nursing 113 A2H. Anyone else get scheduled yet?

I got NRSG 112 A1H for lecture and NRSG 113 A3H for clinicals.

Leen, :crying2: I really am bummed for you that you didn't get OB. I'll say though, that if you could find someone w/OB who wanted to switch with you (maybe Lindsey if she gets it since she doesn't want anything to do with OB/Peds!), they would probably let you do it. . . when I asked about switching blocks for the current term they said if two people mutally want to switch then they can do that. (which BTW I'm sooooo glad I never found someone to switch because I LOVE our class)

That's a good idea Chris. I'll ask around next week. If I do have to just stick with it, I'll also have that other 1 credit class down too. I wonder how they do things in 8 weeks. I go all day M, T, W, and half day R. I hope I have enough time to get all the work done by the time it is do. I'm freaked out about not knowing any of the teachers. I haven't even heard of them (**********/******). So I don't know what to expect. I hear all these horror stories about beyond the first semester. :D

I got MedSurg II on M&TH and health concepts class too with clinicals at clarian west on T&W. I am glad to be so close to my house and at clinicals with a couple of people from our class too. Chris, you'll have to keep us updated on how OB/Peds course goes. This semester is flying and hope it continues that way until we're done :)

I'm jealous of everyone because I don't even know my schedule yet! haha! I think I got it early last time, so maybe it's a trade-off and I'm one of the last people to be registered this time. Oh well, more time for me to pray for OB/Peds! It's definitely scary to think of having new instructors since we've all gotten used to the ones we have. Hopefully everything will be fine and we'll all sail through the rest of the program! Here's hoping!

I still don't have my schedule for this summer!! It's driving me crazy! This happened last time too...I was the last one with a schedule. I was looking at the course descriptions though, and it looks like we are going for more hours a week than we are right now! I think they are trying to kill us. SO NOT looking forward to summer school :(
