Hey guys here is a new thread, now that we've started the program and aren't 'hopefuls' anymore!!

Did the powerpoints for the Nutrition lecture ever get posted to blackboard? I haven't checked yet.

Sunny are you at Indy? What section/days are you in right now? I've never figured out who you are or met you.

Geez, I just looked on here and nobody has posted since the middle of March! I guess it's a true testament to how busy we all are! Good luck to everyone on your catheter competency if you haven't had it already. I passed and couldn't believe it---there's a lot of sterile "real estate" when you're doing that and I was terrified that I'd contaminate. I read through the GI lab for next week and it sounds even harder! Luckily, we only have 3 more competencies, and then the final (by the way, does anyone know how that works??? I really don't understand the concept at all!)

I got OB/Peds for summer, but I don't know who I'm with. I think my section is B1H with clinicals M/T but the location is not yet posted. I heard that we might not even know the location until the week before classes start! yikes! Oh well, I'll have to go wherever they put me, so I guess the exact location isn't important until I'm actually expected to be there, of course!

Have you guys taken the ATI practice tests yet?? Wow.....There's not much more to say than that. I literally have never taken anything so hard! I bombed both the Fundamentals and Pharm. I felt like the Pharm test had TONS of drugs that we've never studied in class, so I don't understand how we're expected to know those. I guess you just study the ATI material and figure it out, but I wish they would warn us about that stuff before we take the practice tests and get so discouraged!

Looks like we have the same lecture Anne, with MT clinical here as well. It is going to be strange for all of us to get mixed up, seems like we are finally learning each others names.

Grats on the competency! Crossing my fingers that tomorrow will be successful for the rest of us.

First semester is almost done, phew! I am ready for the break, even if it is only a few weeks. I wish everyone the best for finals and hope that you all get some relaxation in over break!

I wonder how many people will either a) get really bored over break (hmmm, Carlos?) or decide they don't want to do summer class.

Hard to believe the term is almost over. In a way it has flown but in another way it seems like eons ago that we started!

Count em....4 more class days of this semester!!! Can't believe 1st semester is almost gone. It's gonna be weird not to see everyone for awhile. I can't wait to get my Friday nights back and not having to complete a PCR/Care Plan. Those things take me all night to do and I certainly won't miss them during break. I'm just glad we all have lecture classes together this summer. I have met some life long friends this semester. Good luck everyone with finals!!! :redbeathe

I hate that I haven't had any of you in class, but it looks like I will for summer, so that's great! Hooray for OB/Peds! This semester has been fabulous but I'm SOOOO glad it's almost over. Now I just have to study for a million hours for my finals (terrified for lab final for some reason, PS) and then I'm D-O-N-E! Woohoo! Congrats everyone on a great semester!

Annie, I am bummed that you and Kim/MistyMiss are not in the same OB peds lecture as me and Carlos, but we'll be across the hall from eachother at the same time I believe!

I keep forgetting you're in OB/PEDs and not MSII.... I'm gonna miss you ;-( We need to compare schedules to see if our lecture classes are any where near same times or not. I have MSII lecture M morning only & Th all day.

At least most of us will be at school for lecture at the same time---maybe we will see each other at breaks sometimes?? MistyMiss, excited that you and I might finally have class together! PM me and let me know which instructor is listed for your clinical---That's pretty much the only way to tell if we're in the same one. Some instructors are TBA, but mine actually is listed.

SOOOO excited for OB/Peds!
