Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

Ahhh! I take my final in APHY101 tomorrow and I'm so nervous! I have this premonition that I'm going to fail the final and therefore fail the entire class! It's not that far fetched when I think about how terribly I did on the midterm. *sigh* How do you people do it?
Ok so no go on the books. Two employees working while 25 students stand in line waiting for them to walk them around like 3 year olds to get books. No thanks. I cannot wait until next summer when they are required to give us ISBN numbers and we don't have to deal with this crap anymore. Its ridiculous.
Sooo finals. Took my 102 lecture final today and got a B. Which means that I can get as low as a 37% on my lab final and still maintain a B for the class :chuckle
I should end this semester with an A and three Bs. I am okay with that! I just need to pull an A in 101 next semester and I should still have a shot :)

Oh my gosh, CONGRATS!!!! How exciting! He (?) chose to come at a very busy time for you, but I'm sure you are head over heels for him. I can't even imagine trying to go to class and take two finals 3 days after having a baby!!! If you can handle this, you can handle ANYTHING!! Good luck!
Thanks CSAB...I'm not sure how I am going to handle it but as women and mothers we make it work, sorry guys:). I am just hoping I do well on the finals, I was up studying the entire time I was in the hospital lol although I think I should have used that time to rest, I am back home and having to keep up with my 4 year old as well! Sidenote: Every nurse I had spoke VERY highly of the Ivy Tech nursing program and noted how prepared the nurses that come from Ivy Tech are vs. other schools in the area.
And CSAB yeah that is what I thought. I am glad I stopped going to IBC (now Harrison) I was not going for nursing at that time but I am glad I enrolled at Ivy Tech instead of going back to IBC for nursing even though I would have had some of the classes completed and enrolling at Ivy Tech I get NO credit from the classes I took at IBC:(
