Ivy Tech 'Fall 2010' Applicants

U.S.A. Indiana

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....

Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?

I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

And good luck to all the Spring 2010 applicants! :yeah:Hope everyone gets in!!!

does anyone feel like they are already behind? lol

i'm all caught up on current chapters, but still need to read the ones covered on the first day.

not to mention all the other things due at the beginning of the week. PLUS i have to fit studying in somewhere in between all of that for the test on Monday.

i'm also having troubling getting more than 6 hours of sleep! This weekend I definitely will be sleeping in :)

Hope everyone else is doing well! :lol2:

Biz - I'm doing pretty good, all things considering! I'm at Lafayette, too. I finished the med term quizzes 1-5, along with the Curren assignment that's due on Monday. I also need to review the first four chapters to prepare for the quiz on Monday.

I've been having a lot of trouble getting sleep, too. I have a 14-month-old son so I'm used to not being able to sleep in - but even he's still asleep when I have to leave in the morning. Add that to the fact that I've been up late studying every night. I think we're all probably still in the adjustment phase... I'm assuming (and hoping) that I'll get used to the schedule.

I agree about already feeling behind. On top of that, I don't feel like anything is really "hard" yet and that strikes me as scary because I know that this feeling of being behind and probably overwhelmed are just around the corner.

I am sure you guys are doing great! Keep up the good work!! :yeah: I am still waiting to apply and am living through you guys! So very exciting!

Change is hard and their is an adjustment period. Remember, you :redpinkhe :nurse:!!

Hi newmommy,

Good luck to us Wednesday! :D Today I start Student nurse voluteering at the Methodist Hosp. ER, alot of exciting changes but it's also making me anxious. Can't wait to get used to everything. Take care!
