I have seen this done in Las Vegas. You have a hangover and either they come to u or u go to their clinic. You get NS IV and zofran, etc
I want to start my own company doing this
Living in south Florida I see a need for this but how do I go about it. I have done some research.
Pros and cons of it?
Liability ??
Medical director ? How to find one?
Any help is appreciated

I heard about the one in Las Vegas too... I think it's called Hangover Heaven.

I've thought about this too! It would be awesome if you could make house calls though.

Most of them are mobile clinics. Some also offer oxygen (sometimes flavored). For a 99 cent bag of saline and 15 minutes of O2, they charge like $300 and up. Never heard of one providing Zofran, or any other 'real' medications. That would seriously complicate things, including your liabilty. OP: Can you imagine, really, having a hangover truck, say in SoBe? You could market yourself to the nightclubs, and the celebrity owned restaurants. In a few months you'd need to open your own BANK to deal with the cashflow.

There are 2 brick & mortar "Remedy Rooms" in New Orleans. They offer IV therapy ($150) and zofran, famotodine, ketorolac and Oxygen ($30 each). I think you would have to team up with a physician. It's not a bad idea for a clinic. Also, they have converted a bus to make a mobile clinic that can treat 12 patients at a time.

Wish I knew about this service when I was in New Orleans as I attended several Mardi Gras parades on ST Charles Avenue just 2 blocks away....

This sounds like a sure money maker but a lot of liability...would love to "follow" this idea and see how it works out. Keep me posted.

Drunk people don't make good customers. Do they pay in advance because if I was a broke drunk college student I'd skip out on the bill.

If they were drunk, they wouldn't have a hangover. This is a next morning business I believe.

I have *often* thought of doing something like this here in Los Angeles, and making it appear "high end," to appeal to rich drunks, traveling execs, and celebs. A Mercedes van comes to you, offering different levels & packages of services including IV hydration, O2, Zofran, vitamin B/Niacin, pain relief, aromatherapy, and even massage. We'd have an "express" package to help busy execs get back on their feet quickly, day-long total repair for week-long party bingers, post-Vegas weekend specials and even couples deals. It would be a total moneymaker once you'd ironed out all the liability and license/MD issues!!!!
