In home health, I have had clients that remained with their pediatrician after turning 21. You can do extended care home health and work with peds cases that are already in their teens. This is a good age group when the patient is capable of communicating. You can even get cases where you go to school with your patient. I'll bet you would love that!

When I was a student going through vocational nursing clinical rotations in the greater Los Angeles area 10 years ago, the Kaiser Hospital system operated teen clinics in many cities throughout the state.

The children's hospital in my area has an adolescent medicine program. You could look at the hospitals in your area to see if they have something similar.
