Is anyone still waiting for Fall '07 selection?

I thought I would be okay waiting....killing time by spending QT with the kids (who are on summer vacation) and cleaning the house and packing (I am moving in a month and a half) I have had family and friends come visit me....and I am getting so ANTSY--arghhh! This time cannot go by any slower. And it just seems like everyone at every other school already knows if they are going to start NS this fall and that my school is the last to let us know. Is anyone else still waiting? And what in the world are you doing to kill time? This is absolutely ridiculous, I almost want to say I'd rather hear a "NOT ACCEPTED" now and at least get this anxiety and waiting out of the way. But I'm sure if I opened up a letter that said that I would think that I would have rather waited until the last minute to hear a "yes". Is anyone else still waiting?

School starts in August and if I don't get in, I plan on taking other classes for my BSN but registration has already come and gone so I would be vying for dwindling if not non-existant space in any of those classes. Kinda feel S-O-L right now!

I am so sorry that you are still unknown on your status. I just wanted to say hang in there, hopefully you will find out one way or another very soon! Just keep thinking positive thoughts and keep enjoying the time with your children. If you get in, that time will be far and few between!

Thank you Laura! Hopefully I can join you with the class of '09! It's weird because there are people on here that although we don't go to the same school, let alone live in the same state, it feels like we are classmates of some sort, you know what I mean? So would love to join my allnurses "classmates". Either way, I am so proud of those of you who do get to go ahead and begin your journeys! By the way, I ♥ your website! Awesome Awesome Awesome Idea.....I may have to copy you...considering I get that letter any time soon!

Copy away!!! I got the idea from a fellow Texas student nurse on here, Fun2Care. Also a friend of mine has a website that she has done, so I kind of got some tips from her! Thank goodness, cuz this web thing is a totally new concept for me!!! I had never even heard of HTML or Frontpage before April!!! Mi'Chelle (Fun2Care) has an awesome site that my school even links to on their A&P site!

What you said about not knowing people on here, but feeling a friendship to them anyway is so true! I rejoice with others and feel their pain just like they were right here with me. This site has become my daily "fix!!" When I can't get on here to check on how everyone is doing, I tend to have withdraw symptoms!!!

It has taken a little bit of time since I am new to web making, but I have really enjoyed doing it! It has kept me busy so I am not so focused on nursing school starting!!

Well I've been accepted to one program already, but waiting for a response from the other school I applied to. They aren't sending out their letters until August 1st!!:trout:

Wow, August 1st? Is that the school of choice that you are waiting on? Congrats on hearing something from someone though! I'm still in awe that Paris Hilton is out of jail already and I still don't know! LOL!
