Is anyone still waiting for Fall '07 selection?

I thought I would be okay waiting....killing time by spending QT with the kids (who are on summer vacation) and cleaning the house and packing (I am moving in a month and a half) I have had family and friends come visit me....and I am getting so ANTSY--arghhh! This time cannot go by any slower. And it just seems like everyone at every other school already knows if they are going to start NS this fall and that my school is the last to let us know. Is anyone else still waiting? And what in the world are you doing to kill time? This is absolutely ridiculous, I almost want to say I'd rather hear a "NOT ACCEPTED" now and at least get this anxiety and waiting out of the way. But I'm sure if I opened up a letter that said that I would think that I would have rather waited until the last minute to hear a "yes". Is anyone else still waiting?

School starts in August and if I don't get in, I plan on taking other classes for my BSN but registration has already come and gone so I would be vying for dwindling if not non-existant space in any of those classes. Kinda feel S-O-L right now!

Thanks Mystiqx....nopes my school was on the list of "last to let you know" schools. They keep saying second week of July, and so I hear that's what they have been saying to other people I know that have applied. Do you think it's a conspiracy with them and the school and everyone knows something and they are all trying to hide it from me? LOL, I'm going mad! So hopefully 2 more weeks and at least I'll know something. I even opted not to go to Hawaii just in case :(

How's your summer? Are you still going to Spain?

I went to spain in May, end of may for 4 days, definately going back and making it much much longer!

I don't think its a conspiracy, just another way to make us crazy and sick to our stomach with worry. ugh. I know how you feel though, i thought waiting until may was hard, i couldn't imagine july.

keep us posted, you're getting in, or they'll be riots i tell ya! LOL!

I am still waiting and it is not easy at ALL. I started number five on the wait list and now I am number one. I went to orientation two weeks ago and was hoping to hear something than. But heard nothing. All I need is one person to get pregnant or scared or something, and I am in. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Love is patient love is kind.....

Thanks guys! Thanks for the vibes Kare, definitely felt them! I've stopped going to the mailbox daily, I figure whey disappoint myself every single day? And the gas and electric bill doesn't make me happy, especially during these summer AC-filled months in Las Vegas. I'm moving at the end of July as well so I decided that I should be glad that I will be fully packed by then, trying to make time go by. Others at my school aren't so enthusiastic about me waiting either, everyone seems to want to point out how rare it is to get into this school on a first try. At this point I guess I just want to know what's in store for my future months. If I don't get in at least I can try putting together a decent schedule with my BSN prereq's that I plan to take. Thanks so much again for all the support. You guys are all so awesome!
