I am an RN at UW hospital in Madison. I worked as an LPN for 13 years and just completed my degree in May and am now finally an RN.

I love my position there and there is lots to learn.

Nice to have found a group to meet others in the field.:)

I lived in milwaukee, wisconsin from birth to age twenty, then moved to minnesota and went to nursing school and I stayed in Minnesota.

but I'm still a die hard packer fan :)

And I usually get back to Wisconsin a couple times a year to visit.

I live in the DeForest area.....just got here not to long ago...last nursed in Kotzebue, Alaska at a Native Hospital. Have been a traveler for the last two years....Now coming to Wisconsin and setting some "roots" in for permanent purposes.....Plans are to work most likely part time and go back to school....hopefully would like to teach nursing someday. Have been a nurse since 1990, starting with L.P.N. and then in 1993 R.N. Think this looks like a good idea!

Hi all. I work at St. Mary's in Madison. I just graduated in May, so I am feeling really overwhelmed :)

I moved here in 96 from MN. I was never a Viking fan. My dad couldn't believe I was going to be marrying a Cheesehead.

hi,everyone!this is a nice way to meet and talk with other nurses from my adopted state! i'm here in northeast wisc and really like living here.i've been an rn for 3 years ,was an lpn for about 20!i'm also looking forward to reading your replies!
