I'm an lvn in ca. My cousin is in PA and was curious about salarie ranges in PA for LVN'S and RN's any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello all! My name is Valerie, and I am currently living on Long Island, working in NYC, but getting ready to move to Philly area where my fiancee lives. I am a new RN, just graduated in May 2003, and I work in the ER. Thank you to all of those who have been helping me on this board with info on salary, ect. I have been on a desperate search for the past year to find out this type of info, and I just couldnt find it, as I dont know any nurses in PA (until now)! Thank you all again for being so kind, I am looking foward to being your coworkers and fellow PA nurses!

Specializes in ICU, CM, Geriatrics, Management.

Greetings to all other PA people! I'm in a local ADN program in Berks County. Would love to get together with others here that may be nearby. Guess I'm your typical non-trad nursing student... older, married, doing a career switch (several other earned degrees). Very much enjoying my new studies.

My name is Sheila, I have been a nurse for 21 years. I work in Pittsburgh but I live less than 10 miles east, in the burbs.

I never introduced myself, and this thread needs to be bumped anyway because i know there are more people from PA, anyway. my name is tiffany i am 19 attending CCP in philly, one more short semester of pre-reqs to go and i start my nursing program at Lasalle also in philly Sept 2004!!!

I agree, MissJKim, this thread needed bumped up. Somehow the new format has forced me to peek around and see what I've been missing. :chuckle

I'm halfway through my hospital-based diploma program outside Pittsburgh - starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I'm married and have one daughter and was a SAHM for several years before going back to school so this is a MAJOR change for me. But I'm loving (almost) every minute of it.

Nice to meet everyone!

Michelle

Really? That's great news! I was under the impression that they did not hire LPNs...not too many hospitals do.
