International College of Health Sciences

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Just a piece of advice my dear. The source of answer to your questions is the school. So, you may want to contact the school and ask everything you want to know. That’s how you handle your situation. Do not go around and ask questions to other people, they might gave you a wrong informations and give you more troubles!  Hope you will be OK.

LOL….I just had a Zoom meeting with three head people from the school yesterday.  They couldn’t promise anything about clinicals and did tell me they were only working on people who finished in February and that they were not uncertain if clinicals would close again due to this new variant.  They said they weren’t sure if they could take 2 or 12 people per shift offered and could not guarantee a time frame for anything. They told me they were trying to cover minimum requirements for all states but cannot guarantee anything due to covid.
This came directly from the school. I also have had bad experiences on other facets with this school.
I have no reason to lie.  Just FYI.

I am glad to hear your experience is different.

@overcast you just answer your own question, with this global pandemic and the new variant who would know what the next day would be. Wish you the best in your new school.

Can anyone explain to me what the capstone class is all about? Is there any exams or clinicals? Also what is the exit exam all about? What score is needed to graduate and does the person have to fly out to Florida to take it or is it online? Thank you!

Thank you so much for your insight! I will definitely still be attending regardless of what people say. I’ve done my research and this program is what works for my family, future and schedule. Good luck to you @Sushigurl I wish you nothing but the very best. Once again, thank you for putting our minds at ease and proving that it is possible! ❤️ Take care, good luck on your NCLEX RN! Please keep us posted.

True.  Do what's best for you!  I just finished up (3) classes including (2) labs thats (5) classes and it was ALOT of work!  You can do it.

My recommendation would be to study other material along with the school material.  For example, I'm already studying for the NCLEX and studying other material along with the school material for the EXIT exam.  I'm doing this so that I benefit in both.

Good Luck to you!

Hi! I wanted to find out about the program. How was it? Where you able to get your clinical hours needed to graduate and take the NCLEX in California? How were the clinical sites? Thanks for any info you can provide!!

Hi. Did you guys already start this school? Any info would be appreciated!! I’m supposed to start in November. Thankyou so much

Overpriced and erratic. The owner is sketchy and money hungry. Not a reputable school.
