International College of Health Sciences

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

You can petition to start Med Surg along with Psych.  It’s a lot but that’s what I did.

What is the curriculum like? Is it a lot of busy work considering you aren’t on campus a lot? Is the curriculum doable?

How is everyone's clinical experience with this program in particular?

I am doing pharm alone. Then med Surg 1 and psych together.

So if you do med surg 1 and psych together that lessens the program time? You’ll be done as if you passed both fundamentals and pharmacology?

If you contact admissions and state that you would like to take Med Surg I and Psych along with Pharmacology, they will allow it.  They don’t recommend it, but it can be done.

Honestly it’s a lot of work, once you get into a routine it becomes 2nd nature.  You can do it!

What does “a lot of work” mean.  I work full time too and I don’t know if I can do all 3 at once but I am tempted ?. Can you give me more insight? Thank you!
